Let me tell you a little bit about this kid man.
Um Darrell realized it was his Destiny to become a fighter at the age of nine uh.
He had been a problem, child growing up, getting into fights, uh and other trouble uh.
Let me tell you this kid was suspended and expelled so much.
He was kicked out of every school in his district as a young kid.
Yes in in his district, there was, I believe, 10 schools in the kids district and he was kicked out of every single one of them um.
You know to this day.
He doesn’t even really remember how many it was uh.
You know his house didn’t have a cable plan at the time, but while board at home during an expulsion and scrolling through settings, he accidentally bought uh a channel and he laughed uh.
It turned out to be a Floyd Mayweather fight by chance and while he watches something clicked and he fell in love with boxing right away right there, a couple of years later, his mom brought him then 12 years old to Renee’s a strip mall boxing gym wedged Between a Save-A-Lot and a Jamaican restaurant that over the years has become known for producing National amateur Champions, and this kid definitely has racked up some national championships.
Uh he’s definitely a highly decorated amateur guys if you have had a chance to see him in the amateurs.
Great, if you haven’t make sure you check them out in the pros man, because you know what he had a style that was set up for the pros uh, you know being kicked out fighting all the time you know in and out of school.
He dropped out at 17 and just was waiting for his opportunity, man and uh.
You know he got picked up by a great manager and has put him on this path.
Uh, you know to win titles, and this kid is doing great in the ring.
Man he’s six, one he’s got power in both hands.
Um, you know, he’s very elusive in the ring.
He’S got great speed.
His nickname is blast and he’s picked that up from from in the amateurs man uh the minute he stepped into the gym just from his explosiveness and the way that he comes in with his attacks.
You know he’s got power in both hands uh, you know, and he can fight from both stances.
Definitely uh an all-around fighter in the ring can’t wait to see this kid bone Kiki.
