I want to shout out to Miriam she’s in our mentoring program.
Oh yeah, she made this for me.
She gave it to me last Wednesday when we had our event for our 25 mentees in our program, and she made this especially for me so shout out to Miriam and thank you very very much.
I wear this like I’m wearing a Rolex watch, okay for real.
It means a lot to me because it came from the heart and she made it specifically for me, and it only fits my wrist huh yeah.
God got a plan for the underdog believe that huh only if it’s my wrist haha believe that you know what I’m saying: don’t hate coming down and I’m flipping down a loop in my legs and school smelling like juice man, that boy man uh.
So last Wednesday.
We had our event at Panola Way elementary school and it was a success.
I want to thank our sponsors, RX Porter.
I want to thank Walmart truest.
This is it in the devil, yes and man.
When I tell you, Dr Stegall man, thank you so much man, you, man, hey Brad.
You set up that media center with the tablecloths.
They had balloons.
They had the centerpiece, which has some like colorful marbles in there and some nice flowers.
They were like white.
In a nice, a nice Crystal, it was like a nice crystal clear, a Vibra.
You did that bro, so the kids were able to eat and sit like in Elegance luxury.
So that’s the beginning for premium, that’s the beginning for them to experience and we were serving them shout out to this.
Is it man that chicken Anthony man, I’m telling you man, look at him? The boy came with some delicious, fried chicken.
I I I ate a piece delicious macaroni and cheese.
Oh yeah, he has some delicious string beans with the potatoes in it.
He had three gallons of sweets.
This is it delicious, sweet tea and don’t forget the sauce too.
Oh man, the boy had delicious sauce.
The deal man it was, it was and then bro he had the this.
Is it cups? You know what I’m saying we ain’t sipping drink, but you know what I’m saying it would.
They would play alike, though they will player.
Like I, ain’t gon na lie man.
They were real player like and man little bro, oh, they came through the two young ladies that came through.
They were serving man.
I want to thank you so much man he’s the manager over at little off of uh Covington Highway.
If you know you know uh man Walmart, thank you guys so much man, oh want to thank tabari for coming out and doing the video and your friends and then my player partner, Thomas.
Oh, we had a good time.
I I I I like Thomas shout out to Thomas shout out to everybody that came.
We do appreciate you.
While you left an incredible positive impact with these kids, I had broke down and started crying man it just.
It was see the the reason why well I I wasn’t planning on doing it it just it happened.
It just happened like the glory of God.
You know what I’m saying it’s just so powerful and I was ironing like Okay.
So all the kids had polo shirts Stafford boxing custom-made polo shirts and they had like the labels in it.
Like everything was Pete like even the collar was a different.
I mean everything would just customized bro, so we had the um, the trophies yeah on the side.
Yeah you had wore the shirt one time it had.
No, you wore the white tee, but man when I tell you all the boys was dressed, it was, you know, had to Polo like me and all the girls had the pink Polo like Sheila, but I ordered me one.
I had him to make me one a man, because the pink it was hard – though I ain’t even gon na cap, though that pink was hot.
Oh yeah and you said pink Rick laser had posted a picture with him and his wife on Twitter and said men can wear pink too and I have retweeted it.
So it looked real nice, his wife.
She is a beautiful young lady shout out to Rick Glaser and his wife, hey Rick.
We got to have you back on the podcast for sure but um for sure, but man like so I had 25 shirts, so the dry, cleaner man.
They want to charge me five dollars, a piece man.
I understand man, but if I I mean, and then they didn’t want to negotiate, I was like bro.
I just need them pressed.
So that was like what 150 it’s all like man, boy look at here, so I stayed up for two nights.
I broke them down you just ironing like I’m from the south side of Houston man and we stayed starchy nine.
You know being presentable.
Looking neat and clean is is something that I take with pride man, and so when I was ironing them man, I just started crying yeah.
I just start tearing up man because, like just grateful, I’m just grateful man just to have an impact with the kids man and I wanted them to look like me.
Look like us, you feel me, and so, like I took my time, I had a bottle of starch.
You know what I’m saying starts them up.
Looking real good crisp hung him on a hanger, had a label on them with their names.
So we can know who is who and what is what and man when I was standing in front of the kids just talking to him man, I just broke down man, and I just told them that I really care about them.
I really do, and I do this because I love them.
You know what I’m saying we love them.
You know you know what I’m saying and I can see growth in these kids, oh yeah and, like their confidence level, their self-esteem, their level of respect and one thing about the kids in our mentoring program.
You will address us as yes, sir and yes, ma’am.
No sir, and no man we don’t play that mannerisms is something that is mentioned in our community and we want to instill that into our kids so that when they go into different places of establishment, they will be respected.
They will stand out because people will see that they are very mannerable and when kids are very mannerable, people will tend to do more for them because they show respect to their elders and that’s something that we are definitely emphasizing in our mentoring program.
Stafford boxing, the making of Champions you feel me, and it’s just like that, you dig for real someone says something, but I can’t see thank you for tuning in to the Stafford boxing Report.
Podcast show.
I want to appreciate you guys from tuning in on all of our supporters.
Thank you all our supporters, but all in all and Telly Anthony the vice president of this.
Is it so if you’re in Atlanta – and you want some delicious soul food go to this? Is it and man I’m telling you man, he came in man and and here’s the thing.
I never met this man a day in my life.
Never I never.
I never saw him or anything.
I just know that, like maybe a year or two ago uh, he sent me a friend request on Facebook and I never did reach out to them anything like that, but we were just Facebook friends.
So one day I was riding down the street and we were preparing for our event on May.
The third and the Holy Spirit said: hey man, won’t you reach out to him and get him to come and whoop the whoop, and one thing about me is that I like to make sure that my kids eat good, because some of these kids don’t get an Opportunity to eat at home, so me and Sheila we be, you know, like.
I said we partnered with the feeding Georgia, families and we go to them every once a month and we get you know non-perishable items and we go to the kids home and we, you know we break bread with them, but anyway, thank you, um uh.
They you said that you like for them to eat good, oh yeah yeah.
I love for them to eat good.
So man like I say I never meant Telly Anthony before never met the man right.
So I reached out to him – and I said, hey man.
Look.
We got this going on and at the time I didn’t know what we were going to name the program and the Holy Spirit was like: Hey man, God has a plan for the underdog.
So that’s the title of his father book and I love the front cover because man he’s standing in front of a Roars Royce.
Okay, I love rolls royces.
I do.
I love the Phantom, the color, the drop head, um, the ghost The Wraith black badge.
You don’t even matter, I love them.
All Rolls Royce is my uh preferred uh choice of an automobile, but anyway man so Telly came and he spoke to the kids, and you know the kids was very interactive with them and me and Sheila was sitting there watching the kids interact with them before they Wouldn’T you know act like that: they wouldn’t have that type of interaction with someone who’s speaking, but when we meet with the kids every week in our classroom yeah, we got a classroom at Panola Way, elementary school room 111, that’s our room, and so when we get With these kids, we break it down.
I’M talking about, I be on them, like I told them, you know when you come through the doors of Panola Way elementary school, hey is punch the clock and I better not see you on no Tick Tock twerking.
We ain’t doing no twerking man Square business, and I mean that and I had to jump on some of them.
You know what I’m saying when I say jump on them.
I had to clear it up.
I had uh some heated fellowship with them.
I would have some Choice words, some very aggressive words to let them know I don’t play, and one thing they obey was what we gon na discuss um Wednesday when we we talk about some of our kids is starting to get ungrateful man and – and I don’t Care, if you make all as you score high on the Georgia Milestone, I don’t care nothing about that, but one thing well, we do care about that.
We just don’t and will not accept any one of them to be unappreciative, ungrateful and ungrateful because it you know some things and so I’m gon na.
Let you what I do care about.
You know uh scoring high.
You know on the Georgia Milestone and and doom and scoring and making AIDS.
I love that, but I’m more so what the Stafford Boxing Club really is about character, bro, and if you show that you are ungrateful, I will remove you from my program because you will not um contaminate everyone else with that positive mindset.
So with the with the negative yeah: oh yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah, with the negative mindset and speaking negativity – and you know what I’m saying because we have clothed you.
We give you we.
We provided tracksuits hoodies polo shirts, laptops laptops, school supplies, uh two-page, toothbrush, um goodies.
I mean every time we come everybody, but that’s not boasting or bragging, or anything like that.
That’S just giving you all some details into what we are doing and why we will not allow anybody to have that negative ungrateful attitude like like we all of them.
You know what I’m saying you owe yourself something yeah for real and, and you better show that you grateful, because I promise you, I won’t hesitate you out of there.
We ain’t already had to put some folks out: hey bro you out of there and I ain’t gon na get into it, but Brett ma’am.
I asked you to return the laptop, so we can give, but you know what you can have that, though you feel what I’m saying because don’t worry about it.
You don’t say I’m sorry straight cap, big cap too, so check this out.
Everybody.
There are some fights that are coming up and then there are some fights that we want to discuss and then I definitely want to talk about some old school boxers uh, oh boy, that old school is really something boy.
I see why I’m not even going to tell you yet, but I see why Mike Tyson really liked this one certain boxer.
So let’s go through this real, quick, so surrender versus Hardy in Dallas, Texas August 5th.
This is actually going to be a rematch.
They have fought before where Serrano came out.
It was a unanimous decision that was for the featherweight, so this is really going to be something also May 20th.
We have Cameron and Taylor, that’s going to be fighting May 20th in where she is from.
So that is really going to be exciting.
Now I was looking at Katie Taylor’s fights and what I will say is – and I had to write this down – she is a good fighter.
The only thing that I would suggest that she should do is switch it up.
Some because when I was watching her fights, I was actually why, of course, I’ll watch him back to back to back and sometimes I might have to slow it down.
I may have to pause it.
I may have to just rewind it back a little bit.
I think that’s going to be her Kryptonite, because when someone is studying, you’re studying you or they’re studying your opponent, my personal opinion is, you may have to switch some things up.
You can’t keep on doing the same thing over and over and over again now I do like Cameron, because she is a technical fighter and she can also cut the ring and she has great footwork Shields and Crews.
They have actually been sparring together.
They have been training, they are getting ready for their fight in June so, as we know, Cruz Marshall versus Cruz and shields versus Hannah.
So with the Shields and the Hannah fight, we know this is a rematch and this fight is really going to be exciting and the reason why, because Hannah it’s my personal opinion, is the only one that really has that can really hang with Shields.
So that’s really going to be exciting, real, quick.
I really like Devin Haney.
I really do.
I saw an interview that he gave he’s.
He speaks well he’s very professional and I love the fact.
It’S him and his dad when I was watching a little bit of the press conference Devin just he’s just what you call it yeah, okay.
What am I doing wrong now? Devin Haney seems like he’s just just cool just relax chill and his dad was just talking talking.
I love their relationship.
I see the trust that Haney has with his dad.
I think that is just the most perfect relationship, especially when it comes to his training and his father just having his back, because what is better, his father, a father, that’s been with you forever to be on your team.
I really love that.
It’S almost like sometimes they’re the opposite, but I was listening to his interview and he said someone had told them that Stevenson had called them out.
So Haiti was just like that’s what they’re supposed to do and he pretty much said if they wasn’t calling him out.
Then he would really feel some type of way.
If Stevenson had didn’t hadn’t called him out, he said he would have to call them a duck yeah.
So Devin Haney his father, put him in boxing because he was getting a lot of trouble in school and they went to Mexico right.
Didn’T they go to Mexico to fight because you have to be a certain age to be professional.
That’S where he turned professional yeah.
Mexico yeah, so smart move boxes for him is a great Channel to incorporate into a child’s life to in to stealing them discipline, respect self-control, self-control decision making, because I’m gon na take it right now.
Consistency.
Thank you Holy Spirit, man, I’m getting tired of you.
You kids, going to school and being disruptive for like like bird like that is so lame to me.
Bro fraud, man, you get up what six o’clock in the morning get ready to go to school, get on the school bus go to school, just to be disruptive! Bro no they’d be disruptive too, on the the and then I’m telling you may, and you know it’s look, there’s there’s people around the world that don’t have public transportation and they walk miles and miles and miles one way to school and their lunch.
Breakfast is some powdered, milk, uh and some more stuff very minimal right, but that’s all that they eat right throughout the day they walked just to go, get something to eat because where they come from, they just don’t have it.
And here it is man in the United States, man in our community bro, I’m tired of seeing this man, particularly us black kids man.
You know it’s like bro y’all think this is live man that is so lame and fraud to me.
Bro, like y’all clowning on on the Instagram and dma as soon as a fight break out bruh you wan na Rush.
Put it up.
Somebody got the camera.
I want to put it on social media man.
It got us looking bad man, it got us looking like barbaric animals, bruh no cap, and this is not what our ancestors and them you know, shed blood and give their life for for us to be able to walk through the front door.
But we walk through the front door clowns all in Walmart clowning just I mean just ridiculous man, some of you boy and another thing man, the crazy part about this is man you boys be walking around here with sticks man, but I don’t even see no books In your hand, that’s that’s.
That’S that’s baffling to me.
You walk around with sticks, I’m talking about the stick be all in you.
I mean draws me down if your pants down it’s holding you down.
If your pants is up my boy, you on the come up.
Man, I’m tired of seeing it and I’m tired of seeing y’all hurt one another, but then and I’m not promoting any type of violence towards any race, but man y’all don’t have that same type of energy towards them white.
Folks, though, and then this you know, you’ll run up to somebody kill them, but man when you about to get ready to get arrested you all polite.
Yes, sir you’re getting in the car.
Yes, sir, you taking your mug shot.
Man, that’s captain! No! Let me just tell you real, quick before I get back to these fights, especially with Lauren price.
When there’s someone like us, that’s working at a business right and we come in they’ll treat us well, some, not all disrespectful, oh yeah yeah, but as soon as another.
Somebody else comes no, no, okay, no, no, don’t eat soup, okay, well, whether they’re, white or Asian or Indian.
It’S totally different they’ll be like Hi.
How are you doing it’s a pleasure to serve you today? What can I do for you yeah? You sure.
Can here you go, but then when we come in, we get second class.
It’S just like service.
What you get yeah, oh you’re, gon na, have to wait a minute.
Yeah wait a minute, but you don’t, but but you don’t get them white folks.
That type of stuff – but I read this book – called miseducation of a negro by Carter, G Woodson and everything.
This man is saying about the African-American race in 2023, I’m singing it bro, I’m seeing it.
We are so destructive towards each other, bro y’all hate to see you know, I’m saying someone like us who got it out the concrete we didn’t get it out the mud, my boy, we got it out the concrete bro.
You feel me and all you folks, that’s in charge of resources.
Y’All be just you know, just fraud, man, just just fraud and the crazy part about it.
It ain’t even your money, that’s no false money, and God put you in his position to be a good stored over and man.
I feel like there are people in positions that see what me and Sheila doing and man.
It’S not a lot of people like us in the community, have a dream heart for these kids and really trying to do for them.
Man, if you’re in a position to to bless us bro, you need to go out your way and bless us bro cause.
Every time we get.
Some fiduciary means we we’re good stewards out because hey the kid hey ask the kids, because you you can look at the cats, the kids, you can ask the parents up at the school and the thing about it is taking them the resources and um going to Hawaii somewhere just be kept now bro, we really taking that the resources from these organizations that have blessed us with grants – and we are definitely reinvesting this back into the program and we are giving the kids resources and stuff like that, like the customized shirts, the track Customized they call money.
You know what I’m saying – and I want to thank you – know, God for just giving us favor with these folks, but man y’all Black Folk man.
Look us Black Folk cause, I’m black and I ain’t I’m I’m not a you feel what I’m saying: I’m not a uh, what you call what that boy said: uh uh, um, uh uh, what I don’t know: cornball yeah, yeah cornball, all that now I’m a player When I say play, I don’t mean like a womanizer, I mean when I say player, it’s a slang word for it.
Thank you for clarifying that, because some people – just yeah no yeah yeah so play with it, don’t play with it.
I’M I’m a person, that’s distinguished, and I like to do things in the player way.
You feel my like to look good.
I like to smell good.
I I like premium and quality things.
You feel what I’m saying, but I would like to see in our community before it’s too late us come together, bro, it’s that that’s the most difficult thing for us to.
Do.
I see the Asians.
Do it, I see the Hispanics do it.
I see the people from Africa do it.
I see the people from Jamaica, do it, but the African-Americans? Oh no, bro.
Oh, no! Oh! No! Oh no, and one more thing now.
I am a believer of the Gospel, the death and reservation of Jesus Christ.
Let me be clear about that, but man, the state of the black church in the black community is unbelievable girl.
It’S unbelievable, see y’all playing church.
I ain’t really about church man.
Y’All ain’t really ready to share the blood.
I mean ready to share blood about your belief, see the things that we tolerate in the Christianity Community, the religion.
That’S why I don’t want to be part of religion.
No more! You know.
So I’m saying don’t don’t label me as a Christian label me as a a seeker of Christ, because I want people to see christ-like behavior in me and sheba the Jews they willing to die for this.
I’M folk man them folk with blood bro Muslims.
They will share blood bro now the Christians in other parts of the world and their shared blood, but the Christians in America, man, y’all man, y’all, don’t have no backbone.
Y’All got a gristle bro, because certain things should not be tolerated in the body of Christ.
The body of Christ has been infected with sin, and the body of Christ is sick man, it’s sick, Bro, it’s sick, Bro.
It really is it’s sick and, and you black preachers, Lord Jesus, help me oh mercy.
Y’All should be ashamed of yourself, bro, all the money that has come through these black churches and we still don’t have economic power bruh.
We don’t own, nothing bro, we don’t own nothing, but you boys, riding around in Cadillacs and all that other type stuff.
And you know what I’m not against Prosperity preaching: I’m not I’m not, but they need, but it’s really balanced bro the realness needs to come and stop, and then I got ta get on this.
Stop stop pimping.
Our community bro yeah stop it bro people come inside, though people come into the house of God because they need help spiritually mentally and physically and then, when they don’t know or understand or never have read the Bible, and they just don’t know, then you sometimes you All give your own interpretation of what you think they should know, and black people don’t read and they and they agree with anything that they say that the Pastor said or the bishop or the Apostle or whatever you see what I’m saying we don’t read man, they Say if you want to hire someone from black folks put it in the book? That’S why, in the Stafford Boxing Club mentoring program, you got to have a library card because you’re gon na read – because I I mean okay come on get to this, because I I’m about to go Hamburg because I boy look at here.
Look I’m look.
I’M willing to die for what I believe in my wife.
No I’m at this point.
I I didn’t my walk with.
God is on a whole nother level, and I I accept this and for me what I really want out of this whole thing.
Oh, have mercy is an honorable death.
That means an honorable death means that Stafford gon na live for Generations because of his character, his honor.
He didn’t compromise and too many you black men, compromising bro you’re walking around with no backbone or gristle bruh a gristle, and when I think about my ancestors on the cotton field for 18 hours, cuz, it’s nowhere in the world that y’all black men should be walking Around like this here defeated no courage, man and the women getting raped in front of them.
All women is unprotected children because, because us black men have not gave them proper, covering or have mercy, we ain’t gave them proper coverage, so they Loose as a Goose doing any and everything thinking this is normal when it’s not normal, but wait a minute.
Now now, even the for the time.
No now there are some women I’m gon na get to my rest of my fights, because I got ta talk about Roberto Duran yeah so check this out.
But women got to take responsibility too, because I had a great conversation with tank and three other men and one of them was married for 22 years.
Every time a man tries to hold a woman accountable.
She want to sit up there and get a little stink behind attitude.
You cannot tell these women anything and then to the women.
That’S in my age group, my generation and the older generation.
Shame on all of us because look you’re not giving the younger generation any type of hope, you’re, giving them what they’re already doing you’re looking you’re looking up to them pretty much, especially when it comes to the the sexuality you’re, not showing these.
This new generation.
About being a woman of class, just sometimes being quiet being respectable, we’re not showing them this we’re not holding them accountable because we’re too busy trying to be on Tick Tock and Facebook and Instagram live talking about yeah.
I got this man’s money.
I don’t understand why you giving it up for free, you got to get paid so from generation to generation is nothing but women, grooming, their children, grooming, their other women, grooming, children to be doggone prostitutes, and then you all think it’s cool, because you got all these Rap rappers and these celebrities telling you one thing but they’re not but they’re not doing it.
They can tell you one thing and they could be happily married or even if they so-called say somebody cheat or their man cheated, that’s their business if they decided to stay with them, but they’re, giving you a pie, dream and then you’re just taking off with it And then you think you got all this power, because your vagina, you said is is is, is all that and you can take a man, but let me just tell you something: you’re, really, not you really think less of yourself, because your number well actually, if a Man is married, is supposed to be God, first, your wife and then your kids so really you’re coming in fourth, because if they have a dog, the dog probably comes before you anyway.
So you’re going to be fourth or fifth Runner, oh so so so they’re just selling you a dream, and then you think that whatever they’re telling you about yeah, my wife is my man.
That’S straight cat, but okay, let’s go ahead and talk about this Lauren price hold up baby hold up, hold up, hold up cause you the faucet the faucet’s running.
Now, oh my God, I’m trying to talk about this.
I know right now I know, but but we got a platform and we got to say what needs to be said, even though it may not be likable or acceptable.
It’S not that it’s not acceptable, but I really want to talk about this moments.
We got a few moments: yeah women need to hold themselves accountable, yeah and they don’t want to hold themselves accountable, yeah cause.
I’M gon na.
Tell you something.
I just know everything you, women, think that your uh Jewel box is Gon na Keep a man there after he didn’t done all the sticking and licking and all the flipping and putting you in all these type of positions.
After you, you know what I’m saying it it gon na run out, but they don’t have respect for you.
That’S the thing about it.
They think because their jukebox is all of that and different flavors that they can put on it and drink their pineapple juice.
At the last minute, in order, you think that you’re being respected, that is not respect.
I hear men talking boy, they be talking about some of y’all females boys.
I remember one time my husband and I we were working out at the gym.
I didn’t know this girl was getting ready for porn or she was about to work out good God that man listen man, look y’all, be doing too much.
I had to tell this one girl at the gym, I’m like you’re doing too much who next with clicks.
You boys got a lot of flexing going on for real, but women.
We need to step our game up because they always the thing that they always want to say is well men.
Do it? Okay? Well, if a man jumps off a bridge, are you going to jump off of a bridge too man? That’S why I like women, like Coretta Scott King, I mean she was classy.
Bro, like you know, uh.
It was a lot of women.
That was that that that’s, that that was classy and I’m just trying to figure out where are they at you? Grandmothers man come on now all these tight paying booty shorts cut up, oh and the shorts that they wear at the gym, where the the seam is just all up in between there.
But let me tell y’all men something too.
I told a lot of the kids.
The students at Georgia State University, just because she might have a big butt and her camel toe was showing through, does not mean that she is clean.
I promise you I’ll be seeing these girls in the bathroom and they do not wash their hands, will tell you dog all right, because you see right through and you know what else I hate I got hey.
You know what else I I don’t like.
I could be walking right, I’m not trying to see anything, but I do I do look.
I look around and I do look to see what people have on.
I hate when a woman has those see-through shorts on and she bends over right in front of me.
I and then I have to say something I say: look.
I am not trying to take another drink all right.
I tell her.
This is what I tell them: either I’m telling a female you’re doing it or I tell them.
I am not trying to see that it’s crazy, maybe okay, then move on.
Okay, I ate too much see.
I am I too much.
Okay, so check this out, Lauren price.
She also fought this Saturday.
I, like Lauren price, and I told you all in one of our podcasts, to be looking out for her.
I, like her she’s, very analytical.
She does not rush at all and it’s just something else about her.
I can’t really put my hands on it, but she has.
She is a good fighter, she’s a great fighter and she has been the first.
But let me tell you yeah.
He looks old, though, because I am swole, so she fought a lady named Christy right and she won the first inaugural woman’s British title so shout out to Lauren price.
I can’t wait to see Dubois, but I haven’t even heard much about her, so she is the first ever professional woman’s British champion shout out to Lady Tiger.
Yes, Lord lady tiger, oh Canelo versus Ryder, hey man! Let me tell you man, no, let me tell you first, because I got ta talk about these other two so check this out.
I enjoyed the fight.
I’M not even gon na lie to you.
There was a lot of people that said, oh, I didn’t know, Canelo was fighting.
I can agree with you on that one I did.
I had talked about it before the promoting wasn’t really that big of a deal for whatever reason.
Yes, I was just getting.
Let me finish in the United States, so I did enjoy this fight.
I do.
I did see that Canelo.
He still has it.
I don’t believe that he’s lost it.
I know that he, of course, was tired.
He’S been out for a moment, so it’s like this is his comeback, his beginning, but what I will say about Ryder, though I mean he gained in the in the Dark World, he’s game he keeps scratching.
Did he stay in there? You don’t meet many like that.
A broken nose, let me tell you, my blood was just hey man.
This boy hold up hold up.
First of all, his 94 year old grandmother.
Was there too? Let me tell you something: this is to show you how your life can be in.
That situation is not how you start by how you finish, and so Canelo went back to Mexico yeah.
I think that was a smart move where, where he used to sell ice cream ice pops on the streets to help get money to support the family.
So now that fight was so live.
You know, I mean I think it was sold out.
It was a a soccer stadium.
Now, if you ever been to a soccer stadium, it is big, but not only was the stands for I’m talking about the ground it.
It was and man I’m gon na, tell you man baby, how Canelo came out.
I’M talking about man, buddy, hey man, say man, hey bro, that was real player, how he came out for it.
He had the the uh Hispanic group, uh uh, yeah positions on the side, I’m talking about bro, but it came out – and one thing I like about Canelo is that he was branded.
He had his gloves.
He had uh the little poncho on I’m talking about.
Then the boy had the king, man, hey Canelo, was man I’m talking about I’m happy for Canelo.
Listen, don’t sleep on hey man! You boys sleep on them.
You boys, that’s coming out uh in America and when you have any big time paid review, fights, hey bro.
Your introduction got to be on a whole nother level, because Canelo was game.
Changing y’all boys coming out, hey man, we need no disrespect respectfully, but yeah I got ta man, y’all got ta, do some metal coming out with a rapper and all that other type stuff.
Man y’all got ta, come out with a grand entrance bro.
This boy here took it to a whole nother level.
Bro, I’m talking about he ain’t fighting for a purpose which reminds me about Roberto Duran.
I really see him in some research about him.
I see why Mike Tyson really liked it listen it’s it’s Mike Tyson.
It’S Jack Dempsey, it’s Roberto, Duran! Oh, You Got ta, Throw Muhammad Ali, you know uh and Julian Jackson, Sugar Ray Robinson.
I mean I mean I got a lot of good Fighters, but this boy – Roberto, Duran man, I’m telling myself, but we’re not talking about him hold on one second, so Spence and Crawford have actually been talking to each other.
I want to say this they’ve been talking to each other.
I believe that it’s gon na come on, so it’s still July 22nd or it could be July 29th they’re still going through negotiate negotiations.
Nobody has signed anything, but the fact is they are talking one on one, all right.
Man look at here: [, Music, ], [, Music, ], and then you come out and man shout out to uh.
What’S my man name, man, um um, Showbiz, the adult man? Yo, hey bro, I am such a big fan.
We are such a big fan of yours bruh.
You have this unique Atomic passion for boxing bruh and I believe that you are going to uh bring that type of uh notoriety to boxing because of your passion.
Your intellect, like prayer, I mean I’m always looking at your YouTube short clips bro for real uh.
Just real quick y’all can do this research for yourself, but why was there a mole in Devin Haney’s Camp, I’m just going to leave it y’all come to the staff of boxing gym? Oh, it’s going to be a lot: hey, bro, listen tight security Pharmacy! We are checking everything yeah and we checking your paperwork yeah, no cappuccino.
We checking paperwork.
Okay.
So now we got ta talk about Roberto Duran.
He was from the slums in Panama and him and his family were always on the street, and what I mean about that is that they were working.
They were, they needed some money they needed to eat.
They really wasn’t eating, which reminds me of Jack Dempsey and he they used to.
He used to sell newspapers and also shine.
Shoes Long Live Custom Auto and he was in the four divisions, which is light, Welter, light middle and middle, but the lightweight was where he really was showing and like.
I said I understand why Mike Tyson liked him and then, when you do look at uh Roberto his eyes was cold and the way that he fought it was like.
He was snatching folks Souls out from him.
He was not, he was, he was not cocky, but it was very, very confident and check this out.
Also, he knocked out a mule two.
He did that and he fought Marvin Hagler Thomas Hearns, Kim Ken Buchanan and Jesus, which they I believe they thought could be Sugar Ray.
Oh, no, let me tell you about the Sugar Ray Leonard one check this out: okay, so their first fight, we all know uh Roberto won, but it was the second one when he called it off.
Let me tell you why apparently Roberto had been out and he had been drinking, so he wasn’t in the gym and he wasn’t doing any type of training.
So his manager did not tell him that he was planning and talking to Sugar Ray Leonard’s folks.
He didn’t tell him so I believe Roberto only had a month and he had to make weight.
That’S why, when they had the rematch, when you see the fight Roberto said because he just didn’t even have it in him, I don’t even think he really did any type of training for that.
Second, remake and Roberto not like that and he’s and he’s not he’s, not he’s not, and what I like what I like about him real cool.
What I like about him is that he is adaptable to any type of position.
He was just so I can just make this real short, because I can’t go into detail about his boxing style.
He was adaptable and he just I love Roberto.
He was just that.
One I have to, I have to just uh, keep it and then he said one time about his opponent that he’s coming in there to take his money, his wife and to kill him.
He hit somebody so hard.
I was watching one of his fights that he made the VHS camera shake and it started getting like Blurry like the static that he had and they called him.
They called him the hands of stone.
It’S like he got a pocket full of style, and I see why Tyson liked them.
Oh listen to this one nicolina loche! I had never heard of him before, but I just I watched him right.
He is so different and unusual because he would have his hands on his thighs.
He would stick out his head and he’ll.
Go like this.
That’S pretty much what he’ll do and he did this type of head movement, because he it was easy to frustrate his opponent and of course you do see at times when boxers do that head movement.
Sometimes they might not come back with anything like a counter or a jab, an uppercut or anything like that, and another reason why I like him.
He reminds me of Floyd and why I say that is when they’re fighting you see Floyd backing up, because that’s where his opponent is trying to take him backing them up towards the robes or to the ropes or in the corner, and then you’ll see Floyd go Like this, because they are comfortable because they know what it is, that they’re going to do and they’re quick and that’s where Floyd got that head movement from because you’ll see Floyd, you know, go like this and duck.
So I wanted to just talk about that and also he’ll put his head on his opponents lead shoulder and just come with it.
I’M cutting this kind of short.
I can’t really go into it.
So Julian Jackson whoa this man right here, Ko’s Ko’s, all the way.
This man has so much power, okay, so when him and his opponent they’re close up – and he can have his head like this – where the top of his head is on his opponent’s shoulder, he doesn’t always fully extend his jab his uppercut his counter, it’s like when He’S like this, it’s just like, and it is so hard and that his type of boxing style, not everybody, can do because the majority of the time, that’s really how he is, is like he’s closing the Gap, it’s a short distance and shout out to them, like The and you know, Roberto fought some of the best fighters, So when you say give the fans what they want to see, I’m even understanding more when Rick Glaser gave us the difference between the old school boxers and, what’s going on now, I heard Javonte Davis say That too, he said, the old Fighters are better than the new phone, oh yeah, and because I think now, um the pioneers of boxing have paid a way that you can make a lucrative uh earnings from boxing compared to what yeah before yeah.
And so I think that uh during that time, people really was going through tough times, oh yeah and so fighting for a purpose fighting for a reason.
So their level of discipline and focus and and narcissists in terms of accomplishing their goal in their training was something that they took pride yeah.
I remember today we have so many distractions and stuff like that, and you know me and shield we’ve been talking about like man.
We want to get one of these little fighters in the early age, yeah and uh, because it’s like dealing with these these, the teenage.
It’S always fighting back and forth, always have something to say, and I can’t waste my time listen and if you don’t show up at 10 o’clock, if, if, if you probably be at the gym at 10 in the morning, you need to be there at nine nine.
Forty five and you need to be dressed up in the boxing ring whatever out there.
Whatever stretching, I don’t know, but you need to be dressed and ready to go by 9 45.
So that means you had to get there about 9, 30.
and so um.
It’S just a lot of uh, but you don’t put the work in it and you can’t get it in boxing.
That’S why I see.
Thank you.
I’Ve been called a Ministry, but my Ministry excuse me me being called to the ministry is not at the church.
It’S in the boxing industry and we get to have a huge impact because it’s not a lot of uh.
What I want to say governing you know what I mean: it’s not like scrutinized like you know, a church.
You know, if you you know you got to it’s not like that, so it gives us the opportunity to be who we are called to be and so um.
I believe that uh, this is a very unique platform to be in, and so we using the sport of boxing to be Fishers of men and women can’t forget about women, some women, not all of them, but some of them because look imma tell you right now.
Let me be clear: we welcome all, but the Stafford Boxing Club and the gym is not the place where you come to pick up.
Mr uh, a good bar and Miss Almond Joy.
You say that from outside yeah you you all that you know what I’m saying when the the people come in, the members come in the kids come in, it’s all about what we got going on in Four Corners.
If you coming in there and you see her and he and all that hey man, this is not the hey, bro get them out of there.
I mean we just have zero tolerance for it.
Bro, because you know when these kids, these members come to our our facility, we want them to be focused because they got a lot going on outside the gym.
But when they come in here and in our facility is all about Stafford boxing.
It’S all it’s all about becoming a person of character of a a champion because Stafford boxing, the making of Champions you did yeah yeah, yeah, yeah baby.
I ain’t gon na lie.
I think you man, you Captain.
She big flexing over here, big big Flex right here.
Big Flex yeah but uh.
Oh, let me say one more thing about Julian Jackson that I forgot he can switch his chance from Orthodox to Southpaw, which confuses and keeps his opponent unbalanced.
Hey man shout out to RX water man.
You know what I’m saying stay hydrated, which is what you need to they put potassium in there.
The body needs a certain amount of potassium, so they put extra potassium in there.
I don’t know – and I didn’t know it’s Pizza – it’s premium.
You need to know what they put in yeah hey.
You know what this is: the fish of water for USA boxing, the international uh, the WBC yeah.
You know them green boxing belts that them boys be fighting for yeah.
This is the official waterfall, so you know tap in with these boys.
You see what I’m saying yo, I’m talking about.
You know this really is some good stuff man.
I like it.
