Foreign [ Music ] fans, thanks for tuning in to today’s episode of knuckle up it’s Wednesday.
It’S yours truly Mike Gore and I’ve got a good one for you, man Umar then Beck of yes.
This big beast is now 302 Knockouts in that late heavyweight division.
He is from Austria, 25 years old, this Southpaw standing six one now resides in Los Angeles, California, where he has had some tutelage, uh under Freddie Roach and some of his coaches.
He is now ranked 338th out of 1309 right now in the world.
Uh he’s only ranked number five out of five in Austria, so they must be got some big guys going the car out over there because uh, you know this guy’s number five well we’ll have to see, but this guy is a highly decorated, amateur guys, tons and Tons of uh accolades as an immature uh, he literally was born into boxing.
His father was a boxer trained him from an early age uh.
He learned, you know both basic technique and the Dynamics from his father.
In addition to Bar team.
He is also practice.
Other sports – this is Judo uh, weightlifting and uh he’s been an athlete all his life um.
His success is man to be honest, like tournaments uh, you know he’s a nine-time Austrian state champion the 2015 Julius torma tournament, Prague, silver, 2015, International uh, boxing tournament, gold, uh, best boxer of the tournament 2015 uh uh, Dolomite Cup, gold, 2016 International Tournament, uh 2016, dolomites Cup, gold, the kid has just racked up a stack of trophies and and medals for for his entire amateur career, and now this guy has turned Pro and he’s looking to make a statement guys in uh 2023, so be on the lookout for this kid um.
You know New York native Steven Fetter has been behind the scenes as a very successful writer producer and director at Hollywood, California, for over three decades, Vader is no stranger to surviving in a Cutthroat and highly competitive business have having words in Hollywood’s ultra competitive film industry.
For years, uh, first like they’re, getting involved in boxing back in 2007, with some rare downtime during writer’s Guild of America, writers strike uh fader looked at managing a fighter Jump Ahead 15 years and his one-time sideline is very much full-time to date.
He has worked with numerous contenders and world champions, and now fader has set up shop at the finned wildcard boxing club in Hollywood in California, and our man does some back of along with kuch manov, who I profiled a little while back are uh.
Are here man? These youthful young kids uh and are in this guy’s stable, so he’s been building an impressive stable over the last 15 years and now he’s bringing these kids.
You know right to the Forefront, we’re going to get to see lots of them in the future.
You know, like I said, he’s got a fight coming up Guys April 14th, um against Nathan, Davis, sharp uh.
Definitely he’s gon na be oh Cedric.
What’S up brother, hey, hey, hey um! Sorry! I just want to chime in real, quick yeah.
Your camera looks a little Dusty yeah.
Sorry, no! I I forgot to turn the the big lights off too much, so you know this kid right um.
I know here the amateur background speaks for itself and yeah.
It’S gon na be interesting to see him make this transition to the professional level.
Now, who did you say he signed with uh? He he’s actually he’s under um.
The name is uh Steven fader.
This is the guy who’s running at this Hollywood exact uh Steven.
It’S called the champion factor is the name of the company uh and they’re, based out of West Hollywood.
California, as Stephen Vader uh, was the guy uh in Hollywood.
That does you know, he’s been a Hollywood guy for his whole time, but he has signed these two guys um.
These two guys uh Desmond background who we’re doing today and Gucci Mane on who we did uh who’s a featherweight a couple of a couple of weeks.
Back we profiled them um and both these guys, man uh.
You know they’re undefeated right now and uh they’re, looking to make big statements this year.
Have you seen these fights? Have you seen any of his uh his? What’S their Pro record right now, uh! Well, right now, um uh, who who Marley guy we’re profiling today he’s 3-0 right now with two Knockouts and uh, and this next guy, who we he’s 6-0 right now at the moment.
So what these guys are? Undefeated they’re, you know out of out of West Hollywood.
They’Ve had to live under, you know Freddie Roach and his guys.
So you know how old are they uh this kid? This kid is only in his 20s man early 20s.
I believe it’s uh, 20, 25 years old and uh okay, interesting interesting thing and they’re from what country again this guy’s from Austria, okay, yeah uh, like I said man like when was the last like exactly when was the last time you you heard about an Austrian.
You know yeah exactly exactly yeah, it’s not it’s very rare to see it.
You know yeah.
So it’s going to be interesting.
You know um to see how they make that transition to the to the pro level, because uh I’m assuming it’s trying to it’s – probably tough, to get some high level sparring um, where they’re at and stuff like that.
So they would I’m assuming they would have to to travel or or really get really creative with their with their sparring and stuff like that, because this is a little bit as far as improving, because there’s always even as a great boxer, you could um.
There’S always something you can learn from sparring, even against someone, that’s not as good as you, for example like if you’re the the higher level skilled person, you could only use your jab and have the other person use both hands still or you can only use your Left hand, you know your your weaker hand and the the aspiring product is allowed to use both hands right little things that you do to you know to make it even and things that you can work on as their better skilled boxer, so anyways.
I bring that up to say they must have got pretty creative with their sparring in Austria.
Definitely definitely accomplish those things, uh all those things as an amateur coming from that country, because they’re not really known for that – and you know like this – kid he’s only 25 years old and you know he’s only right in the light heavy division he’s ranked five out Of five in his own country, so you know, I guess I guess Austria has been putting some uh putting some work in uh.
There is a guy right now that is the champ over there uh Mansour islav uh, who we should be looking out, for he is 32, but he’s 17-0, so um.
Maybe this is the beginning of us seeing uh more austrians coming over.
You know they only have five five listed uh light Heavies, so you know it’s only a matter of time before I think we see another couple of these guys coming over and uh.
It looks like this guy over in West Hollywood is uh.
Is, is right up there to just bring him in man uh.
You know these guys are highly decorated.
Amateurs, the pedigrees here this kid has been.
You know in the boxing ring, since he was eight years old and uh.
You know his father was a chair.
Like his father was a boxer, this kid’s a nine times.
You know Austrian champ and the list.
I I can’t even read them all.
You know uh.
The list of accolades this kid has in the amateurs.
So you know it’s nice to see that he’s transitioning.
Well, so you know 3-0 right now, two Knockouts, it’s good man uh.
I can’t wait to see what’s uh.
What’S next for this kid, uh April 14th will be that next fight, guys so remember that, Mark that day on your calendar and uh, remember the name umarov so yeah you will be seeing this kid April 14th.
It will be televised um.
I believe it’s on USA show time.
I want to say um.
Actually you know, let’s, let’s, let’s tell everybody just give me one sec, guys all USA and UFC Fight Pass, and that is April Friday April.
The 14th guys so uh.
