Let you know the date we are talking about: the young Raven Chapman, yes, 5-0 right now in that featherweight division, the 29 year old, five, seven from buckinghamshire United Kingdom, is supporting The Knockout record of two out of the five wins.
She is now currently ranked number one out of 11 in that featherweight division in the UK.
She is ranked number eight out of 199 in the world guys.
Yes, she has cracked the top 10 and we are talking.
You know just above Skye Nicholson uh.
She is in there right under Jennifer Miranda uh.
You know this is the same same division as Amanda Serrano, Sarah mafoud and Erica Cruz, Hernandez running out that top three guys.
So, yes, she will be seen coming to a ring near you guys and that date is set for March, the 25th she will be taking on Lucy, Zelda wukup, so sell the lakova uh and that’s at the teleford International Center, and that will be for the WBC International feather title guys you’re not going to want to miss this.
If you do not remember who this girl is, I will refresh your memory uh back in March of last year, uh she took on a Girl by the name of Gabriella Misa, who was 11 29 and 5, and that one came to an abrupt end at 58 Seconds of the first round guys she is being called the queen of Queensbury promotions, Raven Chapman uh.
You know many young boxers can’t wait to navigate their way through the early amateur stages of their journey and launch a professional career and start getting paid after the lightweight division was added to the Olympic schedule for 2020 Tokyo games.
Raven Chapman had her sights set on the Holy Grail of amateur boxing Olympic gold, but after the Olympics were delayed.
Uh by you know the year due to covid Chapman decided to Embark in the world of professional boxing.
Chapman’S introduction in the boxing came through her family and her father’s interest in Combat Sports uh growing up in Brighton Chapman joined uh.
She joined the boxing club before making the journey down to uh born’s mouth.
To link up with the arena.
Boxing Club, having previously suffered from stage frame or moved down from Bournemouth, gave her the confidence that she required to be successful in the ring.
So you know guys having staged right and then trying to get in here and do this uh.
This job is not really the recipe for success, but she overcame her fears and got in there uh and started doing what she does.
Man and that’s box guys in 2016 Chapman won her first uh national title and became the first boxer from Arena Boxing Club to hold the Accolade uh.
Having won the national title.
Chapman was then invited to train with Team GP in Sheffield, which she describes as a big learning curve.
She had learned a lot about nutrition, getting enough sleep and when to put naps in and things like that, so definitely helped progress.
Her career and she’s moved into these paid ranks guys and she turned her own, and you know in March of 2020, Chapman signed with the renowned manager, safety bolt and bull has been managing current WBC and IBO World Super feather Champion.
Terry Harper, who Chapman has fired with so guys, she’s been in there with Champions um.
You know Chapman’s pencil to in she made her debut in the summer when um, when she hoped that the crowd would get to witness her professional, bow, uh and guys.
Honestly, she has been undefeated since that uh fight against Polina uh gobuva, which was back in uh September 25th of 2021, and then since then she has done a wonderful unbean journey and she is now ranked guys, like I said, number one out of 11 in the Uk 8 out of 199 in the world 5-0 two Knockouts guys she’s known as The Omen so be on the lookout for this girl man.
She will be definitely in the ring soon guys and, like I said in March, so only time will tell if she’s gon na stay undefeated but she’s.
Definitely one to watch you’re not going to want to miss this one guys, uh, she’s, very exciting, has some good hands some good speed.
