Hello there boxing fans around the world.
Thank you for joining me once again here on talk and fight for another episode of boxing news today and let’s start off with a recent announcement uh regarding Alan babic, he’s uh Allan The Savage babic.
You might remember now he’s back in action on the undercard, the Bad Blood showdown between unbeaten heavyweight Rivals, Fabio wardley and Frasier Clark over in the UK.
That’S taking place on Sunday March 31st at the O2 in London and I’ll have another update on the undercard.
In a brief moment, let me finish this one: after a devastating KO loss to Lucas rosanski in a WBC bridg weight World title fight, babic now, 11 and one 10 Knockouts will be looking to get back in winning ways when he steps up the heavyweight against 240 Pounder Steve Drago, Robinson who’s, six and two uh also seeing action is unbeaten super middleweight, Callum Simpson on that event, 13-0 by the way uh over in Japan, we’ve got some news um course.
Our good friend Joe Kazumi old warri young, at heart, 39 young uh, yuchi ID uh 153 pounds Eed out a hairline majority technical decision against against uh JBC number one masaki Kobayashi um because of the latter’s bad swelling, caused by an accidental headbutt at 1.
Minute 47 seconds of the seventh round in a scheduled 10 rounder, it was called to HED over in to Tokyo, Japan, um, perennial 140 pounder uh World Contender, wbap and national super light.
Well, ww to weight champ K, Obara 37 years old, hung up the gloves for good and celebrate his retirement at the Korean Hall in Japan.
Um standing 5’11 hitting very hard, upright cist, whose overall Mark was 265 and one 23 Knockouts, once attempted to conquer the world belt.
But in vain Alara went to Miami Florida to exchange gloves with Walter Castillo and an ibf Eliminator to decide the number one only to fight to a highly controversial draw uh in 2015 quite a while ago, but for boxing F you might remember that um unbeaten watari Demolishes GB number one kagi: Japan might have a new star on unbeaten JBC number: five super lightweight Miko: what Hari 5-0 three Knockouts, who very impressively dispatched Philippine uh number one rank Contender previously: unbeaten Ali kigia, he’s 10 and one now, oh 10, one and one six Knockouts at 28 seconds of the fourth round in a scheduled, eight rounder again taking place in Tokyo, so some good stuff out of Japan as always um.
Oh sorry about that fans who on Earth all right.
Let’S get back to the news here! Sorry about that, Chris manx of theone sees Ryan Garcia as having a chance of dethroning WBC light welterweight champ Devon Haney.
If he can land one of his big Power shots in April 20th.
The odds makers have Haney 31-0 50 Knockouts as the favorite, but they may not matter, as we saw on Ryan’s, knockout wins over Luke Campbell, aier, Fortuna and Oscar Duarte.
All it takes is to land one shot on the button to knock out his opponents.
Hany sponge resistance is no better than those guys.
So, if Ryan connects with one of his big left hook shots, he can win this fight and capture Devon’s WBC Title.
It would be a huge win for Ryan, because very few people give him any chance, and I put up a little poll on YouTube: go check it out.
Uh.
Let me know your opinion.
Uh feel free to comment as usual and also on boxingnews24.
com Story by Jeffrey keani coming up March, 8th, as we know, Kingdom Marina in Riyad Saudi Arabia, former two-time heavyweight champ anti Joshua, scheduled to sare off against his former UFA heavyweight jamp Francis Nano wow.
It’S gon na be a good fight.
I’M really looking forward to it.
Nano had his professional boxing debut last October, as we all know when he faced WBC and L world heavyweight, champ Tyson Fury in a 10-rounder non-title bout.
To the surprise of many, though, Nano put forth a terrific performance against Fury when he even managed to drop him with that beautifully timed counter in round number three.
But at the end of 10 rounds for your escape with a Razer thin Split Decision, Victory and many observers believed that nanu had done enough to deserve the victory.
So look out Anthony Joshua, alrighty, heavy speaking of heavyweight contenders.
Here we go heavyweight Contender Jared Anderson, 16, and0 15 Knockouts we’ve been talking about this guy for a while uh will still uh.
Yes, he’s still fighting uh and you’re going to be fighting next April 13th and a top ranked promoted card on ESPN at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christie, Texas.
Yet his opponent is to be announced.
So, let’s uh, let’s have a quick look and see who we think he might be facing uh, certainly not Lis.
Ortiz, let’s see Andy Ruiz, maybe I mean Jared’s been uh fighting quite well, so well that he really needs to go uh and fight.
Someone who can give him some rounds so, let’s have a look at this list.
Um Andy Ruiz have jba bahadir jalolov Joe Joyce Martin boli Fabio wardley.
We just mentioned AIT kabayel Arsen Beck, mmov Daniel Duo Ivan disko, so one of those guys is gon na be lined up against Jared Anderson and let’s see whether he can maintain that unbeaten streak uh speaking of unbeaten, let’s move over to Bruce Carrington, Bruce shushu Carrington.
No, no, no stranger to talk and fight been interviewed several times by Mike gon.
His show knuckleup caring’s confidence encouraged the promising Pro Prospect to believe that he is ready for any boxing’s featherweight champions in merely 10 Feats in 10, Feats 10 fights into his professional career.
Carington understands, though, that he must remain patient while building his brand and taking incremental steps up the competition during uh.
This development phase, the Brooklyn native, used his 10 round Fight Friday night against Bernard Torres as especially important, because it’s the first time that he’s seen uh he’s been scheduled to appear on ESPN.
The 25-year-old Carrington’s prior appearances have been streamed on ESPN plus, which draws fewer viewers than BS broadcast on the lineal uh CH Channel carington 10 and0 six Knockouts and Torres 18-.
One eight Knockouts will open ESPN’s three bout broadcast as part of the sh o shaki Foster Abraham Nova undercard in the Theater Madison Square Garden in New York, which we mentioned the other day says Carrington.
This a big deal for me because it’s the first time I’ll be fighting for a n on National Television.
Shushu said I’ll be fighting on ESPN, Not ESPN, plus I love ESPN plus too, but it’s just a thing where I can have more people see me more people know me, because when they see me fight, they’re gon na love it as we do here on talking Fight, I’m gon na always bring a crowd, pleasing performance every show and – and I feel like this with this opportunity – adds a little pressure – the pressure.
I think I fight the best.
I have the pressure on me, so I’m really excited for February 16th, which I believe is uh coming up in a couple of days.
So that’s how we look and see how Bruce shushu Carrington fares.
Ah, yes, here we go here’s that other name.
I was going to mention earlier, but I thought I’d save it for this particular story: Kia Sky Sports out of UK headline screams, Ben Whitaker Returns on the Fabio wordley versus Fraser Clark, undercard March 31st live on Sky Sports and why are they screaming? Because this guy is going to bring in some fans his his, I don’t know if you’ve seen it or not uh, but now you not only have the clips and if you recall, I uh provided a YouTube highlight reel of his show boating uh on his last F, which was truly incredible, uh, but now someone else has add sound effects to it and I believe it’s on Tik Tok, but you you’d have to Google it or whatever.
It is absolutely hilarious and uh really well done and uh.
You know I don’t really like the show P, but boy, oh boy.
It is really funny to watch anyway.
Let’S have read and see what Sky Sports says.
Future Boxing Superstar Ben Whitaker brings his Unique Style to the O2 in London, as the latest edition to boxers.
That’S boxxer action-packed bad blood card on Sunday March, 31 March 31st, as I said, live on Sky Sports and you know, we’ve been following Ben since as a appearance in the Olympics a couple years back big fans of him, but boy this is going to be his Make or break fight, if you ask me, because if he goes in there as a viral sensation with his showboating and believe me, they are absolutely you.
You got to search this stuff out.
Let’S have a look.
Whitaker, six and0 has become a viral sensation.
After clips of his flamboyant show boning during his stoppage win over khed gradia on February 3rd generated millions of views and Global interest on social media, certainly to make Jake Paul and Ryan Garcia jealous with those kinds of numbers, I’m sure tipped for superstardom, the Tokyo Olympic Silver medalist will look to capitalize on his new found attention by delivering a show stealing performance following his win over gradia on the Joshua batsi versus danaz Bill back in Wembley uh.
The style that I do is actually just my style.
He said I’m not trying to go viral, I’m not trying to get the likes and things like that.
Of course it’s a compliment, but it’s just being me it’s a good response, but I’ve just got to keep levelheaded keep my feet on the ground and make sure I cut no corners, Whitaker, told Sky Sports interesting.
You mentioned feet on the ground because, if you might recall during the Olympics, he was jumping up and down in celebration and I think sprained his forter sprained his ankle in the process so yeah.
If I were, you Ben keep your feet on the ground, I’m just trying to be myself.
He continues.
You’Ve only got one career, so I’m just trying to have fun while I’m doing it, everybody’s got their own opinion and I’m excited to see where it goes.
And so are we here talking F good luck to you, Ben all, right uh, a couple of women coming up down in Australia.
We see that Angelina Lucas going toe totoe against kisara Jad party uh in a battle called The Rising Stars taking place uh on Thursday February 29th uh.
I don’t have much more than that to give you, but that’ll conclude my show for today.
