[, Music ]: what up talking fight fans thanks for tuning in to this special episode coming to you live from windsor ontario for the first time ever to our knuckle up knockout of the week show with my man, who is actually sitting beside me today, cedric ben First time ever we down in windsor in his hometown, we’ll bring you the wonderful knockout of the week and uh cedric by all means great one uh.

It was a great weekend, first of all, um a knockout of the week by mr o’toole.

It was on friday night on the demetrius andrade and quigley undercard um first bout.

I think it was uh first round first minute, so it wasn’t that wasn’t that long, a beautiful uh, uh straight left that was landed by old tool and just put him to sleep that one shot put him to sleep.

Oh definitely uh.

He took a couple on the way down.

Definitely hit that hard side like a tree.

Man like he just got chopped down in a forest.

He hit that map real hard uh big left hand.

Funny thing was: is thomas o’toole, this kid man? Second fight uh.

You know, as a pro was supposed to go and graduate uh on friday, but got the call to uh.

You know show up get in the ring and uh instead of graduating from gmit.

He ends up on our show with the knockout of the week award.

So you know what at least he got something accomplished: uh along with that beautiful beautiful he didn’t get an award.

It wasn’t the award that he’s looking for, but he definitely he definitely got one from us man with that brilliant, brilliant knockout.

What an excellent excellent uh! You know what honestly execution of a perfect left man and uh.

You know what he just put him to sleep.

He dropped him, he’s our knuckle up.

Knockout of the week uh we do have some uh honestly honorable mentions man for this week.

Uh.

Definitely we’re going to talk about the uh demetrius, andre versus jason, quigley uh event ended in the second round, tko um, you know dimitri sandra.

He did promise us that he was going to finish this one and you know what he did in a in a quick fashion: division they’re all looking to make statements in their fight, so they can, like.

I said as they get into the canelo sweepstakes.

Let’S see if you get that big payday, so all these guys, they’re trying to you know, make their case they’re, trying to have spectacular, spectacular performances so that people want to to see him against canelo to give him a shot at me.

So they have to show that they can actually test canelo um right, andre he’s a very good fighter and watch his whole career um, but sometimes he not that he he fights to the level of his competition but like sometimes he won’t.

You know step on the gas pedal to finish it, to get the job done, and that was the complaint.

That’S what a lot of people complain about.

That’S definitely one of my complaints about andre.

When you watch him fight, sometimes he’s a little lackluster.

He doesn’t.

He doesn’t finish he’s not really the finisher he’ll do just enough to get by, but uh.

You know what he proved.

Everybody wrong, uh with this wonderful victory over jason, quigley um.

He made quickly well quickly, really was stepping up to take this fight.

Uh quickly was what 1901 going into this and uh you know it was.

It was his chance at the wbo uh world middle title.

Unfortunately, demetrius andrade came through in a brilliant fashion.

Put on the show showed us that he means business and that he’s here to stop people and that’s exactly what he did uh.

What a great great honorable mention there honestly uh shout out to demetrius andre for that beautiful win man and uh.

Retaining that title and uh another title defense, um moving on, had to be the card last night that we did watching live on talk and fight; uh, definitely definitely a big card super super stoked with the terence crawford john porter card uh.

Let’S, let’s hear what you got to say on this: this was gon na one terrance crocker’s toughest test uh, especially specifically at 147.

I uh and he passed the test with flying colors.

I did not think that he’d be able to stop not that crawford himself be to stop poor, but i don’t think anybody can stop sean porter um, because even even he has three losses before now, all to the top guys, but they’ve all been like split decision Losses when he lost he lost to keith, thurman might split the system, he lost their own spence by split decision um, and so this was the.

This was a a definite uh.

Not a decision was a tko and um yeah.

So this this.

This shows that terence crawford has power at 147.

It shows that uh he can hang with the best of them and uh yeah definitely definitely could hang with the guston he put on a great performance.

It did go 10 rounds at 12.

I called honestly i called it for a stoppage of the ninth.

I missed it by just the hair uh.

You know what crawford men and then those lefts to the body that left of the body is very devastating uh.

He showed that he really knew how to use it.

Last night uh he was setting it up perfect with those jabs uh.

You know doubling up on his job and really really executing his game plan perfectly porter you could tell was getting a little frustrated uh.

He did try to you know stay on the inside as much as he could, but crawford still was keeping that at a great distance quarterman.

You know what my shout out goes.

You know i’ll give him a shout out honestly.

True heart uh, you know two warriors went in that ring last night and honestly, the better man just ended up coming up with the victory uh.

It could have went either way.

Uh porter did land a few few nice shots of his own on crawford uh.

But it’s you know it’s unfortunate that um.

You know he got dropped twice in the round and then uh his corner his corner just said: you know what we’ve had enough.

I think he’s had enough uh good stoppage uh, you know definitely definitely there to save the man from himself because we all know porter man.

He was frustrated after that second knockdown banging on the ring real mad real upset that he got dropped the second time, but definitely definitely a warrior.

Man uh and i’m sad to say, man that we heard news today that he plans on hanging up the gloves uh, and this is not just because of the outcome of the fight.

But it’s just the outcome that was supposed to happen after this fight, whether he won or lost so um.

You know what he’s about to hang up the gloves and uh.

You know embark on a new adventure in his life and uh.

You know what my shout out to him: man and uh.

I hope everything works out for you in the future.

Uh terence crawford.

He ain’t calling out nobody uh he’s he’s left it to say that um, if you want him, come and get him and he ain’t.

Turning anybody down yeah man he uh in in in the conference after the fight, it was actually funny because bob aaron was sitting right next to terence crawford when he was talking, he said uh.

He didn’t officially announce that he leaving top rank, but he basically said you know that bob couldn’t secure me the the spence fight when i was with him.

So how is he gon na secure when i’m not with him, and i was found that interest interesting for him to say that since bob was sitting right next to him um? So i’m guessing that that terence wants that fight and i’m going to say i think, he’s going to sign with pvc to secure that fight.

I uh, i think that’s gon na.

Even if it’s just a one fight thing, just uh, you know terrance crawford is on that that canelo level, where he can just sign when one fight deals and nothing into a couple bike contract deals so um right, yeah man and with porter, i’m hoping.

I know he did say he was going to retire, win, loser draw, but i mean hopefully i don’t know.

I think he still has a good couple of years left in him.

Hopefully he wakes up today and uh and rethinks it.

I know him and his dad had a few uh controversial, not controversial but like and because, after the ring after the fight, his dad was saying that sean was really listening and training and if he was doing the things he was doing, that was the reason why His dad stopped the fight, so i don’t know we’ll see we’ll see.

Maybe poor will come back with a new coach, we’ll see we’ll see uh.

There was also some there’s also some big headbutts that actually happened this week.

Oh yes, uh and some fights early.

I know that uh, i believe it was um yeah from canada.

Therese volney ends up with an accidental headbutt against um falcao falcao yeah against falcao falcao lanza dirty dash over his eyebrow uh.

They only went six rounds.

Folene ends up losing on the cards.

They end up giving the win to falcao over the uh detective walls, a technical win due to a cover for the eye.

I thought the canadian was up, i’m not just saying that he’s canadian right, i believe, i believe, patrice foley was up on those cards.

I believe he got done dirty by that honestly.

I would love to see a rematch, because that was the title eliminator uh for for the triple g versus worth a winner, so you know what that would have been.

I would have been paying for canada.

I’M upset that he got 10 30, like that.

It’S unfortunate that it happened.

Hopefully uh.

Hopefully we get to see those two banging out again yeah.

Maybe this time watch their heads, but it’s kind of hard, uh falco.

During that entire fight.

He literally had his head down and charging forward.

You know head first, not really jerry.

It kind of caused himself, both guys were leaning in, at the same time really to uh to catch each other with these nice shots that were well timed, and it’s just it’s.

It’S unfortunate that both heads collided and we ended up with this nasty cut that just ended stopping the fight uh, but we’re here today to talk about thomas o’toole.

You know what he gave up graduating school to come through and win this wonderful knockout of the week award shout out to you thomas o’toole, for the ko of the week against mark malone.

Uh we’re going to reach out to you, man and let you know what our prestigious award and we’re going to try to get you into the studio and definitely uh get an interview and talk to you about.

You know your career and where you’re going from here, uh he’s now improved 2-0 uh, congratulations, thomas you’re, our knuckle up, knocking the weak winner and uh.

You know.

Could it have been executed any better? No because again that it landed right on the chin.

I always say most people: can you know when they get punched, you can take punches.

You know to the cheeks into the forehead and stuff like that, but the the the chin area that that jawline, that’s the uh.

That’S the off button, the mustache there you go as soon as that get touched.

That’S that’s.

You know, that’s the lights, the lights off switch and that’s uh.
