Um yeah, like share, subscribe, tell a friend to tell a friend all right man, let’s get right into it great night of fights.
Last night, a great night of fights shout out to my boy Randy for hosting the the fight party um, all right.
Let’S get right into it, so first we had um one of the the best women’s boxing cards of all time.
I was very proud to say it has that you know it’s been a while, since I’ve been this excited to to watch some uh, I mean just in general, the the female boxing, the level of of uh, of the skill level of the females has risen over The past couple of years and um, you know especially this year earlier with Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano and um yeah man, just in general females, they’re they’re, really stepping it up, they’re, really stepping it up.
So we had Clarissa the goats Shields versus Savannah Marshall.
Now these two have had a rivalry, a so-called rivalry since, since the amateurs Clarissa Shields is, she can definitely self self-proclaim herself, not just self-proclaimed like she.
She legit is the greatest women’s uh boxer of all time because of her statistics, as I pull him up.
Real quick um, two Olympic gold medalist two-time Olympic gold, medalist two-time world champion gold, medalist uh, sees, has a 63 fight win streak, so 63 fights in a row.
She’S won um 13 anyways a bunch of division, world champions as a professional.
Or is it I’m trying to pull it up right now? Um? Of course, I can’t find it on the spot.
Anyways um greatest women’s of all time.
Savannah Marshall, however, is the only person to beat Clarissa in the amateur ranks or professional ranks, and there’s never been.
I swear, there’s never been a boxer that has lived off of their their uh of an amateur win more than than Savannah Marshall.
You know the the lead up to this all they ever kept saying not just the lead up to this.
For the past couple of years, all they ever said, as these two were coming up, whenever Savannah Marshall’s name would come up, they would mention how she beat Clarissa and that’s the fight, the fight to be made, and so it was finally made, and let me stop Talking, I’m actually give you my scorecard, because that’s what you guys are here for right, so the official scorecard the official scorecard.
Where do we have it? Where do we have it? I know one of the judges.
I had it the same as one of the judges and then two other ones were kind of were just slightly different.
Let me pull this up here.
Of course, it’s gon na make me look bad and not have anything up, so the official scorecard for Clarissa and Savannah was anyways.
My scorecard was 96 to 94.
.
It was a close fight, um a lot of close rounds, and where is it? Where is it? Where is it, of course, I can’t pull it up all right, oh yeah.
Here we go 96 94.
That was my scorecard 97 93 and 97 to 93.
um yeah man.
That was it was.
It was a great scrap now for my specific scorecard and anybody listening.
Please put up your scorecards in the chat it’s gon na get off mine, real, quick and then uh and we’ll get to uh to the comments.
So I had one two three four five rounds marked as close rounds and once again you know, if you mark it as a close round, that means it could have went either way all right Mark Phil round one I gave to Clarissa.
I marked the first two rounds.
I marked as close rounds round one I marked as for Clarissa uh, my notes for round one Marshall was coming forward with with good, Jabs and and good touch punches.
You could tell there wasn’t too much meaning on them with that.
Being said just because they don’t – and I’m gon na talk about this after because Clarissa mentioned something after the fight that uh something that people don’t really think about when you’re watching it on TV or even a coach in the corner, um, so Marshall just looked like She was just touching like throwing touch punches with uh with with Carissa um, so it didn’t look that effective Clarissa came with a big combination, one or two big combinations.
That first round – and I think I just believe she landed more cleaner, punches in that third round.
So that’s why I gave it uh, that’s why I gave it to to Clarissa second round second round I gave to Savannah Marshall.
I also marked that as a close round, it was very close.
Marshall landed the cleanest, the cleaner right hands, uh and made Clarissa move back of course, so easy doesn’t usually fight going backwards.
She can, but she usually doesn’t fight going backwards unless you force her to and Savannah Marshall May Force, forced Clarissa to move back in that.
In that third round number three round number three, I gave to Clarissa uh my notes for round three was Clarissa landed, cleaner Marshall was still coming forward, but taking a lot of punches, her face is red already yeah.
You know Savannah’s face like her.
Her face started to look red starting from the third round, her face and her arms from when she was blocking.
So you can tell the punches that were Landing or somewhere, because her arms were a little bit red, but her face was red too.
He saw the the difference in the color there round.
Number four I gave to Clarissa knows for round four clear.
That was the clearest round that I thought.
Uh Clarissa won Marshalls coaches after yeah.
You know, I that’s why I always like to listen.
I like to listen to the coaches in between rounds, because I can listen to hear what the coaches are saying: the instructions that the coasters are giving and then I want to see if the if the boxer is actually going to follow through on those instructions um.
But I I wasn’t a big fan of Marshall’s coach’s instructions in between rounds, quick side.
Note, if you didn’t know, uh Savannah Marshall’s, head coach is Peter Fury who is uh, Tyson, Fury’s brother or not his dad, but his brother, or something like that um.
But they said he’s after Marshall yeah, they look like they were just there was no urgency in in um.
I mean it was only the third round, so you didn’t have to panic, but they didn’t really seem, like you know, telling her to to to to come on a little bit more um.
He actually asked her.
Are you okay? How do you feel? That’S not really.
You don’t really ask them.
Are you okay? How do you feel you want to give specific instructions on what to adjust that they need to adjust? So I don’t know that was just my little side note about the coaching there round number five.
I marked it as a close round.
I gave that round to Clarissa um.
I noticed around five, better exchanges from Clarissa round six round.
Six and seven I gave to Savannah Marshall my notes for round six Clarissa held on a few times looked tired or hurt.
Yes, that was a little bit concerning.
Oh that’s why Clarissa held on about my notes around six was Clarissa held a few times and looked tired or hurt, and I’m glad that I observed that because after the fight in the post-fight interview, that’s another reason why it’s! It’S you know if you’re a real fight fan, you should pay attention to the post fight interviews when they’re inside the ring, but also the post fight press conferences, because a lot of times they tell that the fighters will say things that will give you more teeth.
More details like on why the fight went the way it did so, it’s very you know if you’re, a real fight fan, pay attention to the post fight interview for any [ __ ] excuses, but also for for um for for the fighters detailed analysis on why Certain things went in the round in the fight there’s a specific reason why I bring that up.
As I said in round six, I said closer, she looks like she’s holding on a little bit extra she’s, either tired or she’s hurt after the fight Clarissa said that she couldn’t barely see out of her right eye from round six to ten, because Savannah hit her.
So hard, and so – and that brings back to my point what I said at the beginning – sometimes when you’re just watching it on TV, you might think like.
Why is this person doing that? Why don’t why? Wouldn’T they just do more like how come you know, you need to do more.
Do more, you know, Carissa just said she hit her so hard, but it didn’t look like she was getting touched up, but it didn’t look like she got hit with any like significant punch that made her head Rock back like she didn’t.
You know her head.
Didn’T snap back or anything like that, um so again watching it on TV, it didn’t look like it hit hard, but Clarissa said herself.
She couldn’t see out of her eye from around six to ten, and that is the reason why she was held.
She held on a little bit extra um in that sixth round, so that makes that makes sense there um and those are those are the punches.
Those are the boxes that are kind of, not scary, but you, you really have to be careful for, because someone, for example, like uh who you know you know Deontay Wilder perfect example.
Everybody knows how hard he hits this that’s no secret when he punches when he touches you.
It’S the touch of death almost except for Fury, obviously um, but there’s other boxers that you know when they throw their punches.
They just they don’t look hard.
So you might think you can take a little bit of extra chance to come closer and then you get catch a hot one walking into something and it’s a different story round seven.
I didn’t mark any notes around seven, but I gave that one to Savannah uh going into round eight.
So three rounds left.
I got it 77.
75 for Clarissa, so it was close round eight.
I marked it as a close round.
I gave that round to Clarissa my nose for round eight was Clarissa barely for Clarissa barely for Clarissa.
She landed the harder combinations um, but Marshall’s pressure, Marshall’s pressure, Savannah Marshall, has that long distance pressure shout out to my uh one of my former boxers three-time National Champion denez Chaffee.
She reminded me of something last night when I was watching the Savannah fight, and I talked to her after the fight I said Savannah has: has dinesh’s um long distance cardio, you know Dana’s, not she’s, not gon na beat you in in a quick Sprint, but it’s If she’s she’s so consistent that she will catch up to you we’re doing a long distance eventually, she will catch up to you and that’s what that’s what it looked like Savannah was doing.
Um in that seventh round it looked like like her her her long run.
Cardio pressure was getting to Clarissa, I don’t know if she does long runs for a cardio, but whatever she does for a cardio.
It is very good because it was uh.
It was showing round nine round nine.
I gave to Clarissa um.
I wrote my notes for round nine: was the crowd is yelling, but Clarissa still did more? That’S why? Sometimes you got to be careful when you’re listening when you’re watching fights on TV, whatever fight like one of the fighters and the fight might be in their Hometown.
So, like the crowd will exaggerate, even if they throw a punch – and just just you know, touch their shoulder, the crowd will yell out loud, like it was a big punch.
Sometimes that might influence the judges.
So you got to be careful for that, and that was I was kind of concerned with how much Clarissa was staying against the ropes, because you know every every time Savannah would just throw a punch, even if it just grazed her the crowd would go crazy.
So I was kind of concerned that you know Carissa’s staying against the ropes a little bit extra long might influence and and hearing the crowd yell every time that Savannah just Shadow boxed um might influence the judge’s opinions on the scorecard.
So a little bit concerning when I was watching the fight and then round number 10, I marked it as a close round and I gave the last round to Savannah marked it as a closer.
I know I didn’t write any notes for round 10, but it was, it was a close round could have went either way.
My final score once again was 96 to 94 for um for Carissa um yeah man, it was, it was a great fight.
Um.
It lived up to the hype.
A lot of people were thinking, including myself.
Well, no, no! No! I I was.
I was more making my predictions uh from my heart as opposed to thinking about it, because I think it was just making me so mad how how people were were um were kind of dismissing this missing Clarissa Shields and like acting like Savannah and Clarissa were were On the same page, they are on the same page as far as you know, level of competition to each other, but as far as their resumes, I just think Clarissa is like right here Savannah just slightly under it’s not like there’s their leagues apart.
They are close to each other um.
Another thing that that Clarissa said after the fight is that um Savannah Marshall gave her her toughest fight ever Clarissa Clarissa said this after the fight so showed her respect.
Um, you know a lot of trash talking going on in this.
You know this picture right here shows her shows her excitement.
It was a lot of trash talking going on before the fight um, but I’m glad they they squashed it and and uh, and just made it about uh just made it about.
You know made it about boxing.
It was a great night for women’s boxing.
It elevated it elevated the the just the general, you know, um interest in uh in in female boxing and uh, and I’m very happy and uh yeah man.
That was a great fight.
So where do both Fighters go from here? That’S the only problem, because in at the top level, at the top level, it’s kind of what they call Top heavy in in female boxing, where, like the top ones, are very good.
But the left, the rest of the field of competition is not so much.
There are some, you know, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying there’s only three or four, but the level of competition is not as high as as uh as the rest of them.
So you know, hey, it might be, might be a rematch if they want to.
Although no Savannah, I think Savannah kind of mentioned how she was thinking about retiring after this fight um, so we’ll see where she goes from here, we’ll see where she goes from here, but uh, it’s gon na be interesting to see where she goes but, like I Said Cyrus’s Shields, definitely solidified herself as uh.
You know the greatest women boxer of all time.
I wish I could find that uh that statistic: um yeah man, she she’s the real deal she’s the real deal from when she was an amateur.
Let me find that picture.
I had a picture of when she was an amateur when she came in Windsor, for when she was an amateur up until up until now, um you know she’s, and even when it comes to her record, you know people were trying to compare their records their their Their their their uh between Savannah and and Clarissa man, Clarissa’s professional debut, was against franchon Cruz.
Who right now was considered.
You know, as far as the female bossing pounds per pound, one of the best ones out there um.
So you know what I’m saying: Clarissa she’s she’s up there, man shout out to Mary Spencer too, who was uh slowly, climbing up in the ranks and um that might be a class, a rematch that we’ll see in the future Clarissa beat Mary Spencer in the amateurs Um so right now, Mary’s uh.
I think she still she’s only six and over 7-0 or something like that, but they’re they’re, fast tracking, her.
So it’s gon na be interesting to see in a year or two from now, uh, Mary against Clarissa, again or Mary again.
So then, if she decides to uh to to keep fighting what other stats do I have to pull up um? That’S it! I guess for that fight, nobody got any uh any any uh scorecards or any comments, not no comments.
Yet all right.
Let’S move on to the next one uh, please put up the next slides.
Yes, there we go.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
We had Alicia Bumgarner as I pull up my scorecard here, Michaela Mayer versus Alicia Bumgarner, and I always mention you know.
It’S always a good fight, it’s always a good fight when the two people don’t like each other in real life.
Sometimes you know people will talk trash uh.
You know leading up to the fight where you’re doing press conferences and you’re going to different cities trying to promote the fight a lot of times on the mic.
The the two.
The two opponents will talk trash to each other.
They don’t really.
They don’t really not.
Like each other, but they’re, just trying to you know trying to Hype up the fight get get some more interest in the fight by talking trash about each other, but sometimes it actually is genuine, not liking of the other person – and this was the case here between Alicia and Michaela these two: they almost got into a physical altercation at the at the weigh-ins and and the press conferences leading up to it um and it wasn’t fake they they legit were about to get into it if the two security guards didn’t separate them.
So I knew this was going to be a good fight, always just like quick side note.
Like a couple of months ago, we had Amir Khan versus um, uh, uh, um versus Kell Brook now.
Obviously, both guys were past their Prime way past their Prime, but just because they didn’t like each other like in real life.
I knew it was going to be a good fight and it was so anyways back to this one.
The official scorecards for this one was pull it up here.
Official scorecard for Alicia, Bumgarner and Michaela Merritt was 96.
95 and 97 to 93.
.
96.
95 is uh kind of.
I think this was the mass where one of the judges, one of the judges, marked like two of the rounds as 10 10 Rounds, which is very rare.
A 10 10 round is when you, you know, you really can’t say who who is the winner, because it was that close generally, you you try to to not make it a 10 10 round, because, obviously, if every, if you score every round 10 10 kind of A draw obviously, but so you’re trying to avoid that you try to give one person the winner and give your explanation not just go.
Eeny meeny miny moe have a little bit of an explanation, um, so anyways um, my specific scorecard for this one was my officials scorecard for this.
Just like the last one was 96 94 for Alicia Bumgarner, as you can see them face to face here.
Yeah these two really did not like each other.
So I believe mayor was the favorite mayor was the was the slight favorite uh, but Alicia.
She sees tough match she trains over about a half an hour across the border.
Here my man, Tony Harrison shout out to him.
He’S uh he’s one of one of her coaches.
So, let’s get into the scorecard, I gave the first three rounds to Bumgarner uh, my notes for round one Alicia landed cleaner and looks more comfortable like as far as like ring generalship.
She just looked like she was more more uh, more comfortable just being in there doing her thing.
Moving around making mayor Miss mccaire was coming up, mccarre had some good Jabs, but they weren’t as effective as as Alicia’s movement round, two No No’s for round two, but I gave it to Alicia Justin.
It was basically the same thing as round one um round three.
My notes from round three uh Alicia started talking [ __ ], oh yeah.
She was talking to her.
That’S that’s the thing man it’s.
If you’re talking trash, you need to be extra confident because it just makes you look better.
You talk all that trash and then you, if you get stopped or you lose, he just makes you look stupid right.
Anyways third round Alicia started talking trash to her and she was looking good at the same time.
Mayor was Landing Jabs, but nothing else like mayor.
She was you making good use of her job, but she wasn’t following through with a with a right hand or anything like that: Alicia Landing different punches from different angles.
That was a good job Landing here by uh by Michaela Mayer round.
Three, oh just did round three round four, so the first three rounds I gave to Alicia the next three rounds I gave to Michaela Mayer and none of these I didn’t even marking these as close rounds um round.
Four mayor did more of that round.
Uh Alicia! More smiling but not action mayor, throwing more yeah, see that’s the thing.
That’S a perfect pick see the sweat flying from that punch land right there, um mayor, picked it up in that fourth round.
I just told you in the last one when Alicia was, was smiling and talking a little bit of extra trash.
You know I think that might have got to her head thinking that you know the fight was.
Oh, not the fight was over, but she you know she kind of got in a coasting mode and Michaela kind of took advantage of that and and did more so I gave him a killer that fourth round round number five.
I also gave to him to Michaela mayor mayor, using her jab more to land, more right, hands, fighting smarter yeah, I thought round.
Five was clear.
Mayor was just doing her thing was boxing much smarter in that fifth round using your jab, but she was already using your jab, but following through with other punches after that round six round six, I also gave to Michaela mayor so going into round six.
It’S a tide, 57-57 round.
Six mccayer mcmayer is slowly taking over this fight.
Um going into sixth, they show the punches landed mayor is slowly doing more so going in in into the sixth round.
They showed the punch stats at the bottom of the screen and you can see each round how Michaela Mayer’s Punch or punches landed were increasing each round.
I’M just I can’t remember if his punch is thrown or landed, but it was increasing each round and Alicia was kind of staying the same yeah, yeah, yeah and then Alicia decided to flip that switch and pick it up a little bit round.
Seven, a game two: it gave to Alicia.
She landed cleaner and made mayor’s hard.
Oh, she made mayor’s head snap back, so Alicia decided to really sit down on her punches use.
Your legs landed.
It might have been that right hand right there and made uh made Michaela mayor’s head like snap back.
That was probably the cleanest punch of the fight round.
Eight round eight and nine I marked as close rounds um I marked as close rounds.
My notes around eight was Alicia landed, better combinations in the mix, but my mayor was still making it close round nine.
I marked it as a close round.
I gave that one to Michaela yeah to Michaela Mayer.
America has a close round my nose for round nine was uh Michaela Landon Moore at least his hands were down too much for for a close fight, yeah man, when it’s a close fight, you can’t just be chilling with your hands down.
Unless you have exceptional head movements like Floyd or something like that, if it’s a close fight, you can’t just be chilling with your hands down and get touched with punches.
That’S what makes the fight closer than it could have been and round 10 final round.
I gave to Alicia at least you just showed more shows she wanted it more Maya mayor, didn’t Michaela didn’t show that sense of urgency in that last round.
Maybe it was a case of what I said before in the Clarissa fight.
Maybe she got hit with a hard punch and that’s what made her hesitate to come forward, but in that last round, where it was close like hold on if yeah, if, if, if Michaela, would have won two out of the last three rounds, it would have been A draw right, so that’s how close it was.
You can see the disappointment, obviously everyone’s disappointed when they lose, but um disappointment and Elite and uh Michaela’s face after she lost.
She stepped out the ring.
She wasn’t even gon na shake her hand, but she did stay there.
They did shake hands after so that was cool, um and yeah man.
This was a great fight.
Another great fight like this was the undercard to Clarissa and uh and Savannah.
So this was a a great one man another classic.
I mean because, as I said before, because there’s not that there’s not that much competition.
Sorry, I shouldn’t say that that sounds kind of disrespectful.
Basically, what I’m trying to say is they.
They should have a rematch as opposed to fighting someone else where, where they, each of them would probably be a heavier favorite here, it is right here see them.
The security guards have to separate them.
This was not fake, like they, they legit were trying to get at each other um.
So yeah man, that’s why I was really excited for this fight all right there, you have it for the second one, my man can we please switch it over to uh.
The third fight uh, which was Caleb plants versus uh, one of the Darrell Brothers I always versus Anthony Darrell Kayla plant versus Anthony Dorrell um.
The end result was probably the fight that was probably knockout of the year.
Once again.
This was a match too, where it’s always a great fight when the two guys or girls don’t like each other in real life.
These two guys do just like Alicia and Michaela do not like each other in real life um a lot of trash talking going on before this match, not just to Hype up the fight, but legit not liking each other type.
Trash talking that these guys were doing to each other um as I pull up the highlights, [ Music, ] um, so Kayla plant seemed more calm during the lead up to the to the fight uh Anthony Darrell was more than one talking Anthony.
His nickname is the dog Anthony dog Darrell, just from Flint Michigan over here um, so another reason why I was very excited to watch this one they got into it uh.
Let me pull up my scorecard here: pull up the scorecard so round one round one.
I actually gave to Anthony to Anthony Darrell.
It was really only the last minute that the the it was really only the last minute that the rep pulled it out as I pull up their stats.
Uh Anthony durrell’s 37 Caleb plans, 30.
um Darrell last minute came through looked like.
He touched up plant a little bit extra, so gave it to Darrell at first round, but I didn’t mark it as a close round.
I thought it was clear, but not not much.
Shout out to Stephen Edwards Caleb plant’s coach, one of the most underrated, but best boxing coaches in the sport of boxing.
This guy’s always saying some smart stuff.
You know he’s one of the people.
If you follow him on Twitter, he’s always saying some smart things, not just rambling on about his opinion, he’s always saying some.
Some educational boxing things Steven Edwards.
If you don’t follow him on Twitter and follow him, man he’s educational boxing coach, the things that he puts out there round two marked it as a close round.
I only marked one round as a close round round number two, my notes.
Oh, the no notes for round two: oh yeah! That’S why um! I didn’t have much notes for around for for this fight, because I was watching this fight, obviously studying it to score it, but in between rounds, when I usually take 30 seconds to write down my notes, the Devin Haney and George cam Bose’s fight was on at The same time, so during the one minute break of this match right here, I was watching the the camboses and Haiti fights.
There was not much notes for this one um no notes for the second round round three round three: I marked it round three.
Four: five: six, seven, eight the whole rest of the fight.
I marked it for for Caleb plant.
I didn’t even realize that at the time round, four no notes for anything but ain’t but um round six I put up total punches landed going into round.
Six was uh Kayla plant 60, Andre Darrell 42.
.
What other stats uh round? Seven Darrell Kim Lane complaining to the ref two months, like that’s kind of a sign that you know: you’re not doing good when every every 30 seconds you’re holding on and looking to the referee and talking to the referee to come, help help you.
It’S not a good sign that you’re doing good um what else we got what else we got anyways, that’s that was it for my nose because I was busy watching uh in between rounds.
I was watching this fight, but in between rounds, Washington, camposis and then round.
Nine here it is right here, The Knockout of the Year.
This is a little bit of recency bias for me, because I just just watched it last night off the top of my head.
I’M sure there was other Knockouts big knockouts for the year um, but it’s it’s October now so I mean you know.
It was a lot of months before that.
I might have slipped my mind, but right now he gave him and he gave him that what I like to call the Tyson special to the body and into the head with the same hand.
Obviously, Mike Tyson is not the first person to ever do this, but during my time growing up he was the best at it.
That’S why I call it the Tyson special and Darrell was down for a couple of minutes.
It wasn’t one of them knockdowns where he went down and then got up wobbly like he was down down for a minute, a good minute um, but he you know shout out to him.
Obviously boxing’s a serious sport.
You don’t want anyone, anyone to be seriously injured, but it does happen sometimes and um, especially when two guys are talking trash to each other.
You know, sometimes you put a little extra emphasis on on the power of those punches uh, but it was good, though man.
It was good, I’m not sure if they, if they uh, showed respect to each other after the fight, probably not because after when, when Darrell was still laying on the ground Caleb plant, and it’s going to come up in one of these pictures here he did the Most of like digging dirt and like bearing you know when you bury someone digging the dirt, he was doing that sign when Darrell was still lying on the ground after the fight, so um yeah, yeah yeah, that’s a little bit of of lack of respect, but but Again, both you guys, both these guys were showing a lot of a lack of respect to each other leading up to the fight.
So you know it always kind of makes you look bad when you’re talking all that trash and then get laid out like that.
You know you’re gon na be talking trash.
You’Ve got to be able to back it up like 100.
You got to be able to back it up because it just makes you look bad after um.
This was a big win for Caleb plant, I’m very happy for him, he’s always known as as a great boxer.
You know he got stopped by Canelo, but I had him winning that fight.
I had Caleb plant winning that fight not every round against Canelo, but I had him up by maybe a round or two against canel before before Canelo caught him um.
So Canelo I mean Kayla plant, a great boxer still he’s still.
Young still has a lot of fights ahead of him um.
I know that benavidez that David Benavides matches is lingering too them two guys really don’t like each other, a lot of shots talking talking amongst them too um.
So that’s going to be interesting there.
So how about Kayla plant versus um, David beanies, David benavidez or Kayla plan versus Charlo them two guys are talking a lot of trash to each other too.
The 168 pound division is low Dead.
All there’s a lot of boxing divisions are loaded.
Man boxing’s just at a great place right now, um, even even a rematch with Canelo might be might be.
You know if playing gets another good win like this doesn’t even have to be a knockout, but if he convincingly Beats like unanis unanimously beats Charlo or unanimously Beats benavidez, which I don’t think that would happen.
That would be a very close fight um.
But anyway, if plant, you know kids a couple more big wins like this: he could earn himself uh another rematch with the with with uh Canelo.
That would be interesting.
That would be very interesting because, as I said before, I had uh I had plant winning that fight against Canelo.
I got any notes or anything like that.
I know I took a few screenshots of some notes, uh what I got here.
No, no! No! No! No notes from that, no no swim.
Now is everybody sleeping? Where is everybody at man? No, no scorecards, no comments.
What’S going on man, everybody must be lazy or tired today, um so yeah, where do both guys go from here, uh Auntie, dorelli’s, 37 years old.
You know, as I say, all the time you know, 37 is not old in real life, but it’s old in athlete age.
So I’m not sure, not sure how much more fights he has in him.
He didn’t look bad up until he got stopped like he was in the fight.
Well, sorry, this is a case where the numbers don’t exactly tell the whole story.
I I gave Darrell the first round and then every round after that I gave to Kayla plant.
So if you look at, if you just look at the numbers, you’re gon na think that you know it was a.
It was a technically.
It was uh.
It was a shutout on the scorecards, but not a shout out if you’re watching the fight, because Darrell was still in it the whole time um.
My man Graham thank you for listening good morning, good morning to you and good morning to all my scorecard and talk and fight Channel fans around the world.
A couple weeks ago, I asked people to to put in the chat where they were from and there’s people from all over the world that were that were in there, so shout out to everyone listening around the world, yeah yeah all right.
I believe that is all the notes you can keep going through through the through the picks um.
Let us move on to yes, the heavyweights, the rear, the return of the bronze bomber waiting for Wilder comments.
Me too, I’m waiting for comments from everybody, whereas this is like the first time.
Everybody must be sleeping.
I know it was.
You know it was a long night of fights.
Last night from you know the Clarissa card started at because it’s over in the UK.
It started at two o’clock in the afternoon, so if you’re you know, I was watching device from two o’clock in the afternoon until like 1am, so you know, I guess people need a little extra rest this morning, but I was expecting some more comments as core cards In the comments section today, anyways the big heavyweights, the bronze bomber versus uh Robert hellenius, here to Stats here, while they’re press pause here for a second, while it’s 36 helenius, 38 45 fights to 34 fights, while they’re 41 Knockouts out of 45 fights.
That is the textbook definition of a knockout artist.
You know people have people could say what what they want about, not liking.
Deontay Wilder.
One thing you have to admit: Deontay Wilder, has one of the hardest punches in the history of people, putting on a pair of gloves in the history of boxing putting on people putting on a pair of gloves to fight each other.
Deontay Wilder is one of the hardest punches ever ever.
With that being said, much respect for to Tyson Fury’s chin.
Tyson Fury has to have one of the toughest chins in boxing history too, to be able to get up multiple times from those from those right hands.
Must respect the Tyson Fury for having one of the greatest chins in the history of boxing but Deontay Wilder? You know when, before Deontay Wilder, you know a lot of the the the the the the the experts would would call um sorry, I didn’t mean to do that in a disrespectful way, but a lot of the old school boxing educationers.
I know that’s not a real word, but you know what I mean.
They would say that people like George Foreman or Ernie Shavers would have uh would have the hardest hardest punch of all time.
This is very comparable, whether Ernie, Shavers or George Foreman.
You know that they um, but the odd my whole point of saying that is Deontay Wilder is right up there with them.
If not number one Deontay Wilder is not number one as far having the hardest puns of all time.
He is right up there like one.
Two or three – and I would say three is being disrespectful um because he looks you can keep through the slides now keep going through the slides he has.
He has, like you, see the punch that was landed.
It was only one round, so if you’re waiting for the scorecard there’s no scorecard is the first round, he was backing up and and helenius.
He had the right game plan because says Tyson Fury Eric.
Can you go through the slides? Please keep going through the slides, um Fury, had the right game plan and wait in the way he came at came out Wilder because, while it has a tough time fighting backwards, I tell all my boxers.
Fighting forward is fun, but going fighting going backwards is a different story.
You know you still have to have skills, it’s not an easy fighting going backwards, so um.
So that’s the that’s the as you see him going down here.
That was the the strategy that helanius tried to try to apply and he was actually doing good at the beginning.
Helenius was doing good as far as backing while they’re up while he doesn’t.
He doesn’t.
He doesn’t really throw as good his punches aren’t as effective.
When he’s backing up – and so ladies that’s, why you see right now in this picture right here he’s against the ropes I wish I could, I could find a picture of of the actual punch that landed because it was just literally like this water was against ropes.
He backed up it wasn’t even a full extension.
He looked like he just went boom like that’s.
Why I like joking, called the touch of death because it did not even look.
It did not even look like it.
Was that hard, like there’s, no way that he turned his hip? You know I always emphasize.
If, if you’re throwing a hard punch, you want to emphasize turning your hip and pivoting your foot to transfer the weight onto the front leg or to the back leg when you’re throwing a fast combination, you can’t turn and pivot on each punch.
But if it’s a single punch you want to do your best to try to turn and pivot on that punch and um Deontay Wilder.
He didn’t even turn or pivot.
On that punch.
It was really just just an arm punch just from elbow to hand and helenius was out out like not just again like the the real knocker he wouldn’t just he didn’t just get fell to the floor and got up stumbling and the referee called it off.
He was out out, like eyes, opened looking looking up at the ceiling, that is, the the touch of death punching power from from Deontay Wilder um.
Where do both guys go from here? Look at this.
This was this.
Was it right here so Haley helenius was doing a good job coming forward on him, while it was backing up.
You see his back against the ropes there, and this was like right before the the he touched him with the touch of death, um Yeah man.
So so, where do both guys go from here? You know Wilder he’s 30.
What 34? Now he still has some good fights left in him.
Um he’s gon na have to earn his way up back to the top, get some more Knockouts um how about how about Deontay Wilder versus versus um Anthony Joshua? How about that one? You know that, because this was the original fight that was supposed to happen before the fury fight and with that with a side note, uh um, Tyson Fury should be thanking Deontay Wilder for that trilogy because remember before the first fight everyone, the fight that everyone was Talking about was Wilder versus Joshua, what Fury wasn’t even in the picture he was suspended for for steroids and and drugs.
He was busy on his two-year suspension, so nobody was even he was leaving in the picture.
He decided to come back and call out Wilder and Wilder decided to give him that that new shot right.
So nobody was talking about Fury before before that fight, so Fury needs to thank Deontay Wilder for giving him that chance.
Um with that being said, how about Wilder versus Anthony Joshua, I’m still excited to see that what up what up sugar, what up? What up? What up um? What did you think about the the female card? Last night? Sorry could oh yeah! I saw your message in the chat.
Sorry, I didn’t get back to you yet you know what let me answer you right now, um well after after this I’m just going through the Wilder stuff and then we’ll get back to get back to that stuff.
So anyways I was talking about where we go from here, Wilder versus Joshua.
I’M still excited to see it.
You know they might not make his money as they could have a couple of years ago.
They’Re still gon na get a good bag for it.
You know five ten million each or something like that: um, so yeah man, uh, Wilder versus Joshua or Wilder versus Dylan, White or Wilder versus Dylan White.
You know, then, basically, Tyson Fury is the only person that has shown that that that to withstand the touch of death from from Deontay Wilder, like I said man, this guy, don’t even look like he hits hard like.
He just touches you and you’re going, not you’re, not just hurts you’re going down like Deontay Wilder puts people in the hospital one of his last fights.
I forget the exact statistics, but like there’s about six or seven opponents that when the other Deontay Wilder didn’t just knock them up, but you they go, they went to the hospital after like he doesn’t just knock you out.
He puts you in the hospital: that’s how dangerous this guy punches all right, um, so yeah man, so it’s gon na be interesting to see where Deontay Wilder goes from here.
But I was a big win, a good confidence booster for him and uh yeah.
I think Wilder will slum Joshua.
He got the Thunderclap.
Yes exactly that Thunderclap.
I like that.
I like that word.
He does men so and it comes out of nowhere.
Just like you know.
Sometimes it’s just raining.
You know you don’t know when the Thunder’s coming right.
When it’s raining outside it’s just blah blah blah and then boom, that’s uh, that’s that’s the Thunderclap! That’S what that’s! What DeAndre Deontay Wilder has the bronze bomber yeah yeah yeah um, and there you have it.
I forgot to add some pictures um.
I guess you could just put me on the screen now I get, I forgot to act, uh add pictures for for Haney and cambosis um, but it was a you know: Kevin shout out to Ken bols as he put up a little bit of a better fight Than last time he put up a little bit of a better fight than last time.
It was still unanimous from what I saw like I said that the The Haney and cambosa’s fight was on at the same time as the plant and Darrell fight, and I I was really looking forward to the planting Darrell fight because, like I said, those guys were Talking a lot of trash to each other, so I knew it was gon na be good, so I was paying a little bit more attention to that.
The break in between rounds I was, I was watching.
Uh Haney and camboses and camposis looked like he was.
He was trying harder um, but again, Haiti is just that much better man with his boxing skills, uh they’re, both leaking a little bit.
Uh Haney was leaking from his eye and I think from his forehead.
So, like I said, camboses did put up a better fight.
He did put up a better fight but again, but it just wasn’t enough to to withstand Haney’s skills, um yeah, yeah yeah, and that was it there um sugar, what um? What were your thoughts on on the female cards? Last night, oh yeah, I said I was gon na answer, your your uh, your thing in the chat here, um did any of them.
You asked did any of them seem like they were having trouble at any point in the fight.
I’M thinking I’m assuming you’re talking about Clarissa and Savannah um, not that they were having trouble, but I mentioned this before I’m not sure when you hopped on, but I mentioned it before and uh Clarissa mentioned after the fight that from round six to ten she can.
She couldn’t really see out of her right eye because Savannah hit her so hard, and that was very interesting that she said that, because when when I was watching the fight, my notes for round six, I marked down that for some reason in round six Clarissa hell Was holding on so she either looked like she’s, either tired or hurt it didn’t.
Look like she caught like.
She took a big punch, but you know when she was holding on and she just looked visibly either hurt or tired.
I couldn’t tell from what, but that made sense after the fight that she said that um, so so that that was the thing there because Savannah she doesn’t.
She doesn’t the way she fights like she’s, almost looked like she’s off balance.
She’S, always you know random head movement.
Sometimes she gets, she mixes up her feet and then she just throws.
You know a quick combination.
It doesn’t look like she sits down on her punches.
So when you’re watching it, it doesn’t look like she’s hitting hard but, like I said, Clarissa said herself that she couldn’t see out of her right eye from around six to ten.
So obviously, Savannah does have a little bit of power packs a little bit of extra power in those punches there um so yeah man that was it uh.
I saw where she was getting hurt, but she fought through it.
Yes, she did and that’s something and sugar brown you can.
You can speak on this because you were one of the toughest ones out there too um.
That’S something that you can’t teach someone like if you get caught with a shot and and you’re a little bit hurt like there’s nothing, a coach can’t tell you to to have heart and fight back.
That’S just something! That’S inside of you to get caught weather the storm and still have have the confidence to come back at the person.
That’S next level mental strength and Next Level heart inside you to to do that.
So shout out to Clarissa.
Um Marshall got leverage.
Yes, she does yeah yeah you’re right yeah.
She does have leverage on those long long arms, so maybe because it doesn’t look, even though she doesn’t, she doesn’t look like she’s landing hard because of that leverage that you mentioned there.
You know she, you know those punches coming from a longer distance at full extension did have a little bit more.
I didn’t realize how much bigger Marshall is.
Yeah yeah yeah she’s she’s about a couple inches bigger than Clarissa um.
Clarissa said after the fight that you know, I’m glad that that uh they they showed respect to each other after the fight.
Sometimes it doesn’t happen.
You know when people talk trash to each other, um, sometimes out of after the fight they’re still animosity, but I’m glad that uh Clarissa went over to Mark to Savannah’s corner and shook her head, and you heard her say: Clarissa told Savannah.
Thank you very much.
You were my toughest toughest fight ever uh.
So thank you.
Thank you.
So I appreciated that uh.
That Clarissa did that shorter respect, like that Marshall was using her weight on Shields.
Yes, she was.
I bet you before.
I was kind of concerned.
The way that Clarissa was chilling against the ropes too much uh, especially being in the UK, you know every time Savannah would just Shadowbox the punch.
The crowd would go crazy, so you got to be careful with with how much that would influence the judges.
So I was kind of concerned that would influence the judges a little bit in between knob at arms legs – everything.
Yes, yes, yes, our legs, everything I hear you! I hear you sugar, the chap sugar brown.
Thank you for for commenting in the in the chat today.
