[, Music ]: what up talking plate fans thanks for tuning in to today’s episode of knuckle up featuring yours, truly mike orr and my man, cedric ben prospects? You know what it’s about people! We had some big fights this weekend and definitely we are profiling.
One of these guys it came through with a highlight, reel knockout, and that is our man and heavyweight prospect.
Jeremiah milton – and let me tell you dreamland – is definitely a great nickname for this guy, alias because yeah, that’s what he’s doing man he’s putting people to sleep, and you know, in a timely fashion, he’s coming off a second round knockout against nick jones, uh nick jones.
You’Ll, remember uh was the man that suffered his first loss to fa, ajogba uh a way back and uh yeah.
So now we have this new kid.
Jeremiah milton has burst onto the scene.
He’S 6-0 right now, with five kos in the heavyweight division.
He is ranked 38th out of 364 right now in the us at 151 of the 1345 in the world.
This kid is only 20 28 years old he’s a six four 245 pounder with an 80 inch reach.
Let’S uh, let’s talk about him, uh yeah man! Well, there’s not much of his full fights on on uh to watch and his knockouts are some highlight.
Knockouts.
Are you talking before about how he had a a a um, a devastating knockout he’s had a few knockouts of the nights um a couple of times.
If you just youtube his name, then type in boxing, you know when the first 10 videos that come up three of them are like the fight like the knockout of the night yeah.
So he definitely has power.
Um he’s a heavyweight six foot, four, who knows how to use his his uh his long distance reach um because most of his opponents they have a hard time getting getting close to him.
I mean six and four is like average height for a heavyweight nowadays yeah, but his opponents like most heavyweights, even if even if they’re just a little bit shorter, they kind of like to crouch down, like all of his all of his opponents, so far have trouble.
Getting to him because he knows how to use his distance properly and then they just try to overcome it, and then he catches them coming in.
You guys will remember him if, okay, so he he went viral uh with his knockout of javon, daphne uh.
It went viral because it you know it was an it was.
It was really a smart thing for him to do uh.
He did knock out.
His opponent left him standing against the ropes uh.
Daphne had no idea where he was and uh jeremiah.
Mr milton here he decided to you, know, hold back and not literally take this kid’s head off man uh, you know he’s promoted by holding promotion or productions and uh.
You know this kid boxing.
He came late man.
He came late to the game uh.
He decided to take up boxing after uh college football um and you know he truly believes he’s dodged.
Another major bullet.
You know uh when he clobbered daphne, with that right hand uh and the left uh.
You know his man was knocked out on his feet against the ropes, and you know with a look, not unlike a deer in the headlights.
You know milton then exemplified uh.
You know great restraint.
There uh, with uh referee tony um, uh krebs, observing from a distance by the opposite corner.
You know he had every opportunity to land himself a highlight real knockout, but milton held back and for that next week everything went viral man and honestly he’s being commended for his restraint in the ring.
You know and uh this kid though he did, he did qualify.
Uh well, wait wait just adding adding on to that about um, because there’s uh, you know not too many opponents, not too many boxers.
I shouldn’t say not too many.
You know.
I guess it would be.
You say 50 50 um that would that would hold themselves back.
You know one of the craziest examples after you finish watching this show you can you can type in um ray mercer knocked out tommy morrison, where you had him against the ropes time.
Morrison was out like the way his opponent was out and still landed like like sat down and still landed like three devastating hopes, like i’m surprised his head, you know like in the cartoons when the heads like spins all the way around the head, like i’m surprised That didn’t happen to him um and that’s that’s the reason why i bring that up is because that’s what jeremiah could have done to his opponent.
That’S why it’s so like respectable that he did that, because he could have done that and no like he wouldn’t have been in trouble because the referee didn’t jump in yet the guy was against the ropes he got knocked out and put his arms against the ropes.
As if as if he wasn’t in a fight was just as if he was in the crowd watching their arms, just chilling yeah like just watching and then jeremiah like he’s looking and he looks at him – and he looks at the referee like he looked at the Referee, to tell him like yo come see this guy yeah yeah, like his eyes, are rolled back in his head, and he has no idea where he is he.
He asserted that he takes no pride in punching a man who is clearly out of the fight to you know boost his image.
He ain’t about that.
You know this six foot, four 245 pounder.
He was a defensive end at northern state university in his home state of oklahoma.
Before choosing boxing, i was, he captured a silver medal in the 2020 olympic trials, but once the tokyo games were first postponed due to kovid, you know he packed his bags and decided.
I’M you know forget this, i’m turning pro uh, you know he he he’s a very humble guy.
You know he knows he came into the st.
You know he knows he came into this game late.
He knows he came into boxing.
Like he’s sorry boxing and football are both these sports that he came late into and uh.
You know he’s shining man, and i think that football that football background is definitely helping.
This 245 pound six foot four guy get around.
You know what i mean with with the way that these guys are moving around you know he’s got the which is yeah.
It is very great, it is great, and i wonder if he started actually started boxing before before he started playing football.
What’S going on, he started he northern northern anyways, wherever he played my question is i wonder if he i’m assuming he started boxing while he was playing football because normally people don’t just people just you know, quit a high-level sport and just start doing boxing just out Of nowhere um, you know a lot of athletes.
I’Ve trained a lot of athletes.
I think called box for sports right where i train athletes that play other sports with boxing to help with stuff like hand-eye coordination, footwork and stuff like that northeastern state, that’s where he went northeast all right, all right, so um yeah, that’s probably some good boxing.
Okay, boxing was always his passion uh.
He only started playing college football in his senior year at high school, believe it or not, uh.
You know it was late to the game for both sports, but boxing was truly where he wanted to be um.
You know he was grateful that his mother uh, you know, extols and praises the women who instilled this wholesome family values.
He hopes to pass on to his young son, so his mom has made him this wonderful, humble, wholesome gentleman who um you know truly truly carries himself.
Uh, like you know like that, in the ring, as you can see from these, you know highlights where he easily.
Could have continued to inflict damage on his opponents, but decided not to so you know.
I commend him for that.
Man definitely um.
He has since uh.
You know, since uh turning pro has moved to las vegas, where he now trains and uh.
You know he’s he’s doing wonders.
Man he’s quickly become known uh, you know, as as a really highly uh.
You know a highly decorated uh prospect here that uh that we got ta be on the lookout for man.
Uh he’s great great sparring.
Uh great, you know, he’s great in the gym man he’s great to be around and uh people say that this kid is going to be one of the next big things to watch in the heavyweight division.
You know he’s he’s already got lots of great sparring experience.
Man he’s being he’s being used by the top heavyweights around the world, so you know we’re gon na see this kid uh.
Definitely in the future.
We’Re gon na see a lot more to do with this kid’s name, man, jeremiah dreamland, milton that’s exactly what he’s doing man he’s putting everybody to dreamland when they stand across the ropes from their men and uh.
You know guys if you haven’t seen it go check out nick jones versus jeremiah milton uh.
Definitely a great fight and uh.
You know.
Nick jones is no slouch man uh.
You know he uh.
He was running seven straight until that uh that big shot from faa jagbal that ended his uh ended his oh.
So you know uh we’re gon na see this guy get a lot of uh.
You know new new opponents in front of him.
Hopefully we get to see him uh, you know in some challenging fights and we get to see these wonderful highlight knockout reels again from this guy, mr dreamland, so guys it’s your man mike gore and setter ben doing what we do best man, that’s prospects.
