Hello boxing fans around the world.
Thank you once again for joining us for another exciting episode of the scoop featuring the champ bola ray who’s been covering all sorts of great subjects for us.
I have no clue what he’s going to talk about tonight.
I’M sure you don’t either uh, so it’s going to be a nice pleasant surprise.
What do you got for us tonight? Champ well uh today in my ongoing series on the headways that are making this one of the most interesting times in boxing history um.
I’M talking about a guy who actually has a win over anthony joshua and i’m not talking about in andrew ruiz, either um.
This guy turned pro professional boxing after an extensive amateur career of six fights of what she won all like all of them, and with the exception of his first amateur fight, which was against anthony joshua, he knocked out everybody else, wow having tried his hands in not Just king boxing but mma, but he was an absolute success in both of them in both sports, a combined amateur or a combined record of 21 fights and one loss.
This is what a natural fighter looks like and as far as i’m concerned, you know, and with that my name is bola.
Raymond olabwali – and this is the scoop today, born in port antonio portland jamaica on april april 11 1988 was an absolute juggernaut by the name of dylan white.
Now, by 2000, his family had uprooted themselves and boogied over to london, england to brixton sorry brixton, london, england, um after claims that young dylan was dodging bullets on a regular occurrence in jamaica.
I think that’s justifiable to get the hell out of there yeah.
In his words, uh in his teen years, dylan found miguel boxing club a boxing gym and it’s there his career started, but even though it started, the boxing gym white actually started off as a kickboxer, and he did rather well with that.
He amassed an impressive um collection of accolades such as well two times british kickboxing champion once european k1 champion.
He was ranked in the top five sorry.
He was ranked number one in the uk for five years consecutively.
Why leave? I don’t know, but he then decided to hang stage right and try to send an mma.
Now in mma his career was a short one, but still the only notable event that i could find was december.
He fought in the ultimate challenge, mma, where he knocked out mark strout in 12 seconds of the first round and yeah.
Then that was the end of his mma career, went on to boxing now um.
He had everybody on notice once he walked into the boxing world.
All the heavyweights were on notice that this juggernaut had arrived.
His first amateur boxing match was against none other than anthony joshua wow, and he went the distance anthony had already had begun.
His uh what’d, you call it his amateur career.
This is in oh, nine and uh, so he had a lot more experience, at least in boxing, but dylan walked over with the w post that he had another five fights where all of his opponents did not hear.
The final bell, one opponent, was beaten so bad that he remained in a coma for weeks later in the hospital yeah that would constitute as a force to reckon with.
Hence he turned pro now may 13 2011 dylan steps into the squared circle in his professional debut.
As a boxer and he walked away victorious with united’s decision now, the following six fights um being victorious with one com or weren’t victorious with one coming um the way of a ko actual ko um.
But three also came the way of uh tkos and then white fight white’s last fight in 2012 was against a sandor ball.
Golf ball golf sure which took place in blue water, uh grinneth kent on the james, the gale undercard, when degale was had fought for the european super middleweight title october, 13th.
Now white won the belt.
What was later, strict after being [ Music, ] or testing positive for a substance or performance enhancing drugs? Now a sample of this in competition, doug trust uh.
That white had provided after his victory over mologov um had a bad substance called methyl hexan amine.
Thankfully m h a and that’s what i’ll call it from now on the revelation came while white was on road to a news conference of his next fight, announcing his next fight, which was for the english title.
Not only did the uk anti-doping organization confirmed that white was provisionally suspended for the competition from the 5th of november 2012, but an independent national anti-doping panel found the case to warrant a two-year ban.
Now white then went on to [.
Music ] try his luck, which, if he didn’t have bad luck, he’d have none white appeal.
The ban, though the appeal panel restored well retorted by emphasizing that.
Well, the confirmed two-year ban the tribunal has accepted.
Whites claimed that he did not knowingly take mha but but reject his appeal because he didn’t do enough to check the supplement’s ingredients as charles flint of quebec, canada, the chairman of the appeals tribunal, explained in a written verdict in his first instance decision the anti the National anti-doping panel found that white failed to seek professional or medical advice before using the supplement jack 3 d, which he had bought over the counter from that from a nutritional supplement store.
Consequently, they stated that he had failed to discharge the burden of establishment, establishing that he was not significantly at fault.
Shame on him and therefore could not reduce his sanction from two years.
The appeal panel agreed with the decision and stress that the case emphasizes the dangers that athletes take taking supplements which contain mha yeah white.
There uh was there by banned from all competition within a period of eligibility from october 13th, 2012 to october 12, 2014 and the result against bulgar was disqualified.
Now dylan returns to the ring, nothing shy of a man on a mission he enters the ring on november 21st in 2014, wins by second round tko only to get back into his office one week later and repeat the same fat feat with the third round.
Tko dylan follows up the next five fights not hearing the final belt with three coming way of absolute knockout then came the biggest test of his career december 12.
2015, none other than the man himself anthony joshua.
This contest was some serious hardware, or this it had some serious hardware on the line in that the wba international title, the commonwealth heavyweight title and the british boxing boards national british heavyweight title.
All three were on the table, and this fight puts the winner on the world map as a contender to working with now what a contest of brutal of brute power.
This was the opening rounds had things going, joshua’s way with joshua clipping dylan and clearly rocking him.
Second round, once again, joshua clips dylan, he looks like he’s in trouble.
He comes back with a counter punch rocks, don’t um joshua josh was now in trouble, doesn’t seem to clear his head until the later part of the third round from there on in joshua start gaining momentum.
He start controlling the fight and he’s putting a punishing beating on on dylan only to finally finish him off in the seventh round.
It was an impressive fight.
Um i took my hat to both of them.
They they fought both brilliantly, but it was joshua’s day.
Um post this fight, dylan, went underwent surgery for on his shoulder, and then he returned to business.
Um in the interim joshua had gone on to win the ivf um, the ibf heavyweight title from prince charles martin.
So he had to relinquish the three titles that he had just beaten dylan for now.
Um then ends up picking up two of those three titles again in separate dances, um, the wc international title and the the british boxing board british heavyweight title with that.
Then the dance came up against the big mouth himself: derek chizzora.
This mouthpiece is a detriment to himself in my most humblest opinion and i don’t care if he gets upset, because i would love to put a slapping on him like no other.
I assure you i would hospitalize him and then zone, but okay, both dylan and derek, had been trash talking to each other on social media for months only to meet up in a trip in a in a press conference leading to their fight now dylan states in [ Music ] during the press conference that he would like to in the event that they were to cross paths post fight anywhere.
It’S still on like donkey kong.
He does not like him.
He wants to beat the man up period, all right and strong words sure whatever, but you have the idiot himself who he could go off and just articulate something if he could do anything over a grunt decides that he’s gon na pick up the table with which He’S at throw it in the general direction of dylan fall nowhere remotely close to actually landing on him but too stupid to realize that he may hurt innocent bystanders.
It almost did hurt innocent bystanders, namely the promoter of the fight he’s a donkey because of this.
The british boxing board recanted their sanctioning of that fight because they want nothing to do with having an idiot like this, representing them or potentially representing them.
I i i can’t fault him, like i said, he’s a twit.
The fight goes on and an actual in actuality.
It wasn’t actually a really close fight um.
It was a really close fight where dylan ends up winning by split decision, but the split decision was it’s like 115, 113, 115, 114 and then 115 113 going the other way it was.
It was close um, but dylan goes on and post.
This fight has some incredible tests that he comes out victorious on.
Almost all of them white won the fight against the nordic nightmare, robert hellenis, where he almost all but shut out helena’s in a 10 round contest that speaks volume.
For me, robert, is my hype.
He’S he’s strong.
Actually, i think he’s a little bit taller than me.
We met once um well actually, a few times we were in camp together, one time um.
He may be a little bit taller than me.
Um, decent power sensational fighter and dylan, was able to bypass his power and actually give it to him almost every round.
It was that’s that that’s actually rather impressive, seeing how the boys at the top are all built like planets and they sort of fight like him too.
He goes on after this [ Music ] victory to then get a fight that i’ve wanted so bad for so long, but he got there too first and exposed big, daddy lucas brown, the former wba champion big daddy lucas brown from down under australia, ozzie landway, and He did this in style.
He knocked out lucas in the sixth round, so bad that the ref when he hit the canvas, the ref, didn’t even bother attempting to count.
He just called for the for the doctor to come into the ring there was.
There was no question, lucas was sleeping and he was seriously hurt.
He got the right, got the opportunity to actually expose lucas brown, um and uh.
I genuinely am envious.
He lucas has beaten two people that i’ve been um, but especially when it came to julius long julius long.
He was given like no time like something like a week’s notice.
Eight days notice for this fight and julius went into the seventh round with him, and he was actually doing really well now.
I just thought like yeah: this guy was he’s just trumped up, taking nothing away from julia because but because, at the end of the day again julius had eight days preparation time and this guy couldn’t finish him off quickly and he was at the time he was.
I think he was on road to being a world champion.
So after this fight his conti his career continued on, and he always was in the mix to fight for a world title, especially against the wbc champion at the time deontay wilder.
But they always seem to skirt around dylan like it made no sense, he more than deserves the opportunity to fight for the title.
Look at the names he just slapped up instead joshua.
So he gets a fight against a former wbo champion joseph parker, the kiwi, and what a fight that was.
That was actually rather surprising.
He drops, he drops the key.
He drops joseph, not once but twice joseph had never touched canvas before going into the last round.
Granted the championship grounds he was, he was gutted.
He he fought at a pace was much higher than he was accustomed to and uh yeah.
He joseph knew going into the 12th round that he needed a knockout to win and give i’ll give it to joseph.
He [ Music ].
He did everything within his ability to actually stop this stop and eventually actually was successful and dropped him with 20 seconds left in the fight.
Now he gets up.
He makes the count and joseph takes it to him again, but chazor hangs on and here’s the final bill he is awarded by under adam’s decision.
For some reason, some people thought that uh he didn’t deserve the unanimous win.
But i i don’t know what fight they were watching, because i thought that it was actually rather accurate.
Um it wasn’t.
I wouldn’t i thought it was entertaining, but he won a great deal of the early rounds.
Um won them knock downs, uh two ten eight rounds like honestly: that’s not that’s, not easy to overcome, but and then after this dylan has another fight with the loudmouth again, but this time he does it right, and he left no doubt as to the winner of This contest, in that coming eleventh round chisora, was sleeping.
For those who don’t know, i really don’t care for chizzora just putting it out there now dylan had a fight with oscar rivas of canada, where he won a unanswered decision post this fight post, his uh chazora rematch um.
Only to then [ Music ] have the fight in question because of speculation of him using performance and hormone performance enhancing drugs.
Again, it was then later on.
Uh proven to be not the case, and everyone went on their merry way now, if these reasons aren’t good enough reasons that he deserves a title shot, but, more importantly, has made the the landscape just that much more entertaining and having people riveted on their seat as To what would happen if, if he was to fight deontay wilder, what would happen if he’d fight with his style, how how would he do against um fury? I think he beats both of them dante put him aside.
He there’s nothing to him, but fury.
I don’t think that fury has the power to to just turn this man he’s like gorilla strong.
He has a decent reach, nothing great his boxing skill isn’t bad.
Actually, it’s pretty good makes for an interesting time only to have him fight two fights against the heavyweight that, i still think, is arguably the smartest heavyweight going in the game today, alexander povetkin, and when he fought alexander the first time he was actually winning the fight.
Having dropped alex twice in like second or third rounds, only should they get caught in the fifth and, like i said, oh, this is sasha.
He is brilliant.
He was, he threw the same combination pretty much consistently for the first four rounds where he threw a jab and then through a right uppercut to the body and just as dylan was getting used to that.
He turned that up cut to the body to upgrade to the chin caught him flush.
He was sleeping.
That’S why i think he’s so great because of his boxing iq now i saw the highlights of this.
The rematch and it didn’t look like anything like i have yet to even watch the full fight.
All i know is that he got smashed, dylan came hungry, ready and smashed him for around.
I don’t know what the background i don’t know what the behind the scenes story is, but povetkin.
I genuinely hope that he comes back for a rubber band because again, i think, he’s a sensational fighter and uh yeah.
I don’t know if it’ll be a rough match, we’ll see.
Now those are my arguments as to why dylan not just deserves a world title shot, but arguably is one of the best in the world, as we speak, think otherwise leave comments down below.
But with that that’s my episode.

It’S your boy, bola! That’S the scoop! Well, thanks ray and unboxing fans to be clear.
We’Ve now gone from free, blind mice to crickets to donkeys.
I think i think we’re we’re going through the gamut in this sport as to how the sport of boxing according to ray and wow, i wouldn’t have put uh dylan white up there with these guys uh but yeah the way they tell the story man he deserves.
That shot he does uh, like.
I said the other night, we’re talking about this uh.
How crowded that heavyweight circle really is um.
You know there’s at least a half a dozen fighters out there, either from either from nigeria or britain right now that are fighting for that uh heavyweight crown and if, if tyson fury does make a mistake um you know it’s gon na, be it’s gon na, be A wild era, i think tyson fury’s, i don’t think he’s gon na make a mistake against anthony joshua.
I think he’s just gon na get beaten by anthony joshua.
That’S that’s my prediction.
I think um.
I just don’t think that he has the weapons to deter anthony joshua.
Yes, right now he’s talking some big mess about how anthony doesn’t have a chin, but like neither does he um anthony, got stopped by andrew louise andrew ruiz is a phenomenal fighter, regardless what he looks like – and i challenge almost any of these guys to go off In in dance with andrew ruiz and see what it’s like from standing from the outside looking in i’m like no he’s actually impressive, he has pop, he has weight and he yeah he’s soft.
He looks doughy, but he is fast and strong.
Good luck to you.
If uh tyson fury got knocked out by a cruiserweight in stephen cunningham, so i’m not too sure exactly what he’s talking about.
I have no idea what he’s talking about steve came up to 210 pounds just so as he could fight it heavyweight.
That’S not a monstrous man.
What does he know? What’S what what would happen if he was to go up against and and get his chin touched by uh by andrews, and he would a suspect chin, as is so so? No, i i.
I think that um you’re right there’s like six of these guys, if not more, that are just buzzing around waiting for their opportunity and it could any day they could actually upset these guys.
Yeah, so does white have a fight lined up uh.
He just beat uh povetkin, nothing lined up like i said i don’t know if they’re gon na have a rubber match um.
As soon as this covet stupidity is over um, the octanes will open up for them to actually contest the law.
A lot more so we’ll see he’s just waiting for the wbc title shot, so he now he’s going after dylan.
I mean um he’s going after fury, but fury and anthony have a two-fight contract, so those two guys are locked up for a while.
So he’s gon na be beating up on somebody else until for the next year and a bit right, yeah, that’s what i’m saying: there’s no shortage of contenders out there right now at all.
It’S it’s it’s! It’S a really good era: the heavyweights right now fantastic! Well, thanks very much appreciate, uh your insight and your comments ray that’s uh, another great episode, uh we’ll see you uh tomorrow night cheers
