Hello boxing fans around the world.
Thank you for joining us once again.
Another episode of talking fight.
We’Ve got mike gore at four in the studio and he’s ready to knuckle up, and you know by the way it’s hump day, because maybe you can hear my son tinkling on the ivories, it’s wednesday fans and uh more bang for your buck on this show.
You got mike ward four and my son tinkling on the iphone he’s.
Okay, he’s slapping keys in the background, what a great musical uh add to the show today.
I wonder you know it’s wonderful.
We always love it.
You know we do all right it’s hump day.
I told you i’d have a good one for you and – and i do his name – is brandon lee not not not to be mixed up with bruce lee’s son, okay, half korean half korean half mexican out of la quinta, california.
He is 22-0, with 20 knockouts trained by his father from the age of six bobby lee, he’s recently signed with um d boxing promotions and managed by cameron duncan now this kid.
Let me tell you about him um as much as he’s a prospect.
I think it’s time we move him to more of a contender.
You know at 22, he’s still younger than most every world champion in boxing history, but his journey has been lengthy uh.
He was a national amateur champion at nine and was described two years later by the ring, and then the ring is the big thing you know by the ring.
As a boxing prodigy, he collected three national junior golden glove championships, more than 40 championship belts and racked up a dominating 181 wins and nine losses before he turned pro in 2016 at the age of 17.
, while still enrolled in la quinta high school.
So why why this estate? So what happened here is back in march march 10th.
He fought against samuel t.
I don’t know if you remember that, i’m pretty sure we uh we put that one on uh the knockout of the week.
It didn’t win, but i believe it was on there uh.
So samuel t was supposed to be a test, a test for this kid.
You know his team is trying to run him in a certain way because they want him to gain that man’s strength power before they start putting him in with these big contenders, because, yes, he is young, but his training was so unorthodox with his dad.
You know he used to get in the ring four times a week and train for at like spar for hours.
Four days a week, he um for like a whole year and a half was only allowed to use his left arm like things like that crazy stuff.
But it’s working and it seems to be working well, and you know what is is whatever the father and son doer are doing, is working and there’s no sense of change in it, because you know we’re gon na see this kid on the world stage.
He currently holds the international boxing organizations intercontinental super light title which he won back in march, with a devastating knockout against samuel t, which was supposed to be like, like a step up for him like a test to his actual ability, which he honestly came in and Just ran through what a highlight knockout, what a great boxer this kid is man we’re going to be seeing him soon.
You know honestly he’s he’s about to make this move from top contender or sorry top prospect to literally contender man, because what’s next for him, the kid’s 22-0 everybody they put in front of him, he keeps knocking him out, knocking him down.
You know he’s finished all, but two of the fights going.
The distance like the kid is a knockout artist.
He is a true knockout artist.
He finishes, you know, he’s small he’s super super welter, tiny guy, you know he’s only five.
Five, seven he’s.
You know.
510.
He’S got 71 inch reach, but he hits like a truck man for such a small guy and the conditioning and strength training that he’s been doing since he was a little child uh you know under the tutelage of his father has been has been amazing and it Shows every time this kid is in the ring, you know at 22 years old.
He already shows veteran status in in his ring iq.
When you watch his kitty, he fights smart.
His defense is is impeccable, it’s it’s bar.
None you know it’s, you can hold it above a lot of people.
His defense is excellent.
You know he’s trained.
That way.
You know, defense is is, is a big key part to boxing men yeah.
You can hit as much people as you want, but it’s not getting hit that windy fights as well.
So you know what guys be on the lookout for this guy in 2021.
This is his year.
We’Re gon na see big things before the end of the year.
From this kid man, this is his breakout year.
I want you guys to get behind this kid man, brandon lee.
He is in a really tough division.
Yes, super welter is a really tough division, but this kid does have the tools to do it every test.
They keep putting in front of this kid.
He keeps just walking through them and in in style too man with wonderful, highlight, reel, knockouts, go and check.
This kid’s highlight reel man, it’s great to watch undefeated 22 years old on top of the world man out of california.
You know what let’s get behind this kid start following him.
We’Re gon na see big things from him.
We’Re gon na see world titles on his on his on his waist, eventually in the near future.
